Minutes from Hannah Park & Mayport Naval Station, the Coastal Garden Retreat is your fully-equipped home away from home while visiting family or enjoying the multitude of nearby beaches. Only 9 miles from Mayo clinic & a short drive to downtown Jacksonville. Waterfront seafood restaurants & markets serving fresh Mayport shrimp & their catch of the day are only a 5 minute drive away. Watch the sunset or fish on the St. Johns river, also only 5 mins away. Keep an eye out for dolphins & manatees!

Quick Trip

This is a cozy, feels like home, nice house. My brother and I were in town for my mother’s surgery. Every detail imaginable was taken care of. When you stepped into the house the only thing you needed was food. The owner responded to every message within five minutes. I highly recommend it!

Will stay again

First impression was not the best, but our first step inside the door was "wow." CLEAN!! You could tell the owners are loving sharing their home with others.

Every amenity you could need. Very clean and renter friendly. Older neighborhood, but nice. Love the private back yard! Thank you for all you do for the comfort of your guests! You’re awesome!

Tasteful in every respect

We loved this place. We felt good the moment we walked in. The decor is great, the air was fresh, and layout well used. It was nice to have quality kitchen tools to grind those coffee bean, cut and grill the fresh fish that we cooked on the clean outdoor grill. Since we cooked in mostly, can't recommend any particular local restaurant. However, this condo is in a good location. It was quick drive to the beach to watch the sun rise and then visit a gym and nail spa all before lunch. Highly recommend this property.

My name is Sara, I love traveling and experiencing different cultures, and have always found the ocean and coastal environment to be very healing. I love the Atlantic Beach area and feel fortunate to be able to share it with my guests!

A colorful and creative space with a vaulted ceiling in the downstairs bedroom and a private master suite upstairs with an open, loft-style half wall overlooking the living room.

The living room features two large sliding glass doors opening up to our enclosed porch area, which makes a great reading nook or the perfect place to enjoy a quiet cup of tea. Out the back door you will find a large yard with ample seating around the fire pit to sit and enjoy the warmth of the fire while the wind rustles through the canopy of live oaks and palms. The front porch is the spot to enjoy your coffee as the morning light graces the garden, or to have an evening cocktail as the sun goes down.

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking satisfying meals, with a crockpot, wok, casserole dishes, baking pans, a food processor, and all necessary pots, pans, utensils and dishes.

Our home is located on a residential street with very little traffic. Minutes away from the beach, camping, multiple boat ramps and fishing spots, bait shops, the St. Johns River, the intracoastal waterway, playgrounds, a splash park, picnic areas, Seafood restaurants and markets, the Mayport Naval Base and the St. Johns River Ferry, which takes you to Fort George Island.
