Come relax in a private house with a yard and a deck. There is trail access for snowmobiles and ATVs, and 63 of water frontage with a dock right across the street ready for swimming and boating. The perfect getaway for any season!

Located on the calm Moose River, it is just a short boat ride out to Moosehead Lake. Want to bring your boat? -dock space is included in the rental! The river is perfect for fishing. Looking to see more of the beautiful woodlands? Drive your ATV right out of the driveway to get to the trails!

The house is located close to Kineo docks where you can take the shuttle to go play a round of golf with the spectacular views of Mt. Kineo!

Winter months are just as amazing! There is snowmobile access, great for trips to Jackman, the Forks, Pittston Farm, Greenville, and beyond! 15 minutes south is Big Moose Mountain for all your downhill and cross-country skiing needs!

This 2 bedroom home is cozy and relaxing. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a queen and a full. The spacious living room has a pull out sofa to accommodate all. The living room TV has a full channel lineup from YouTubeTV ready to go.

This was a great location for our summer vacation! The dock access was great for some fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding along Moose River. Very close to the Mount Kineo ferry. 30 minute drive to Greenville for restaurants and public beach access. Kate was very responsive to our messages.

We could not have had a better time at this place. Owners were awesome. Came over the first night to help my wife figure out the roku tv and never stopped being helpfull. We brought our boat and kept it right on the dock. Minutes to moosehead lake where we spent the days just boating with our dogs. The place is the pefect place to spend time with family and friends. Huge wooded yard that backes up to wilderness. The place had everything u could think of. All l8n8n, cooking utensils, even had a dog dish and spot ready for us. Dogs could spend the day looking out over the front yard and river through the huge windows. Couldnt have found a better place to stay around here. This is an older house that is pet friendly and it shows. There are scrathes on the door. Couple spots on the floor where the linoleum has broke. So if u are looking for a pristine high end accommodations it will dissapoint but if u want to have a great place to stay that feels like u are home than this is for u. Cannot emphasize enough how helpfull and nice the owners were. I noticed a lot of reviews were from winter from skiers and snowmobile riders. Summer is just as fun up there.

Very Relaxing

The cabin was more of a house with a charming homey feel. You could see the lake across the street and hear the loons. We really wanted to see some moose but unfortunately they were hiding from us that week. It's a wonderful area for active people and yet a peaceful and quiet place. It's all you could want for a get away.

This house was very comfortable & cozy. It perfectly suited our needs and was in a very convenient location for snowmobiling & ice fishing Moosehead Lake. Kate was very friendly & accommodating!

We had a blast. Sled trail in back yard plenty of room for parking! Comfy beds!!

We had a great time. Some went snowmobiling and we were able to turn a 4 place trailer and truck around. The bait store was in our way to ice fishing. The beds were comfy and the house was cozy

Rockwood Maine Cabin

Great Location for snowmobiling. Easy access to club and ITS trails through the back yard. Comfortable cabin with everything we needed. Excellent Host.
