Our sweet Clara the Airstream is anything but ordinary! Located at mid-lake and directly waterfront with one boat slip for our guests' use, Clara is in the perfect spot at Buckeye Lake! Cozy and inviting, this little get-away has all the modern amenities. Bikes available. Fresh morning pastries from Four Turns Baking Co available for an additional charge (pre-order required). Whether you've come to ski, fish, bar-hop, dine, or just sit and sip, it doesn't get more amazing than this.
Clara the Airstream is located in a residential area, and we love our neighbors! We want you to enjoy your stay, and ask that you respect the lake and its residents. If you should need anything, we live directly beside Clara.
Welcome to our sweet Clara the Airstream! We live directly beside Clara, so we are available should you need anything. But not to worry, we won't interrupt your stay!
Clara is located on a private drive along the south shore of Buckeye Lake, and mid-lake on the water. Enjoy brisk morning walks and quiet evening strolls through the neighborhood, or a fun bike ride to the buckeye Lake Winery! Lieb's Island is just a 5 minute drive. 12 bars and restaurants accessible from the water!
Parking is directly across from Clara, and includes space for 2 cars. The Beach House Pub is just around the corner, and Buckeye Lake Winery is 1 mile east. Many other fun places are only minutes away! The Bar Hopper shuttle picks up at all bars that surround the lake, but you'll need to preschedule transportation directly with the company.
Waterfront with 1 boat slip! Memory foam queen mattress, 2-person bench and dining table. Bathroom includes shower/tub and ample counter space. Refrigerator/freezer and 2-burner stove, microwave. Outdoor patio seating, swing chairs, gas grill and campfire seating. Connected to electric, propane, fresh water, and septic.
Many options! The Bar Hopper is a great way to get around the lake without the hassle of driving yourself.
You can also rent a golf cart from "Got Buckeye Lake"! Although you are limited to streets with 35 mile/hour speed limits, a golf cart is quick, fun, and super cool! And.....if you are of the boating spirit, you can rent a snazzy pontoon boat from the Got Buckeye Lake crew, and see the lake from the lake! So many choices!

Wonderful Couples Getaway

This was a much needed mini vacation. The Clara has everything you need in it, and in such a cozi place. It was very clean, the owners were really nice and attentive. Amazing view. The bikes are a bit of a workout. One of our biggest highlights was all the catfish we caught off the property. We'd recommend this place for any couple who need a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful!

Cozy Stay

My husband and I stayed at the airstream for a long weekend to celebrate his birthday. The camper is situated perfectly on the water and had all of the amenities to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the long evenings by the fire pit, taking in the scenery. We would love to come back.

Peaceful Retreat

Clean and peaceful retreat on the lake. Pastries by Betsy were an added bonus. Fully equipped for sleeping, relaxing, cooking, and just being you.

Born and raised in Ohio (go Buckeyes!), our family loves to get away to warmer climates. After my dad escaped Ohio and relocated in Naples, my husband and I decided to invest in a property close to him. When my grandmother's condo became available, we made the decision to purchase, renovate, and use it as our escape! One condo led to an amazing beach location to share with our guests, and we love that we have now expanded into another location closer to home!

Where do I begin? Buckeye Lake is one of Ohio's hidden gems! We are located 30 minutes from Columbus, but worlds away from the hustle and bustle. Clara sits mid-lake where the views are stellar. Whether you are an early riser or a night owl, you'll love our location! And, the sunsets! Oh my, the sunsets!
Your stay will include use of one boat slip, a hot commodity on the water! Bring your kayaks, a jet ski, or your boat, and take advantage of easy access on and off the lake. Whether you float, ski or paddle, you'll love visiting 12 restaurants and bars with water access. If you are a nature lover, explore through Buckeye Lake's peaceful canals filled with birds and lily pads. No matter your pace, you'll love staying in Clara the Airstream!
