Myriam was a perfect host, she greeted us when we first arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. Checking in and out was easy and the house had a lot of home comforts. It is perfectly placed in a village with a train station for easy access to Paris as well as a very nice bakery and Saturday market. Easy access to the forest for walking, biking and bouldering. We had a really lovely holiday here.

Absolutely perfect, the place is super comfortable and warm, really well equiped with everything you could need and in a wonderful location. Myriam is also delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in a lovely small French town. The location was perfect — an easy walk to the bakery, town market, and around the village. The house was very well equipped for our family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Our kids especially loved the upstairs children’s area with the books, toys, and drawing supplies — such a thoughtful touch. The stairs were a little steep for our 2 and 4 year old, so we chose to keep them sleeping in the main bedroom with us, but when they’re older they’ll absolutely love having their own special space upstairs.We would happily return in the future and highly recommend this cottage to other families looking for a cozy and memorable stay.

The property is poorly maintained. Beware charges for breakage without agreement. A very old chair collapsed under my son at breakfast. The owner was informed. She did not enquire regarding his wellbeing, the chair was rotten. A similar chair was already broken and couldn’t be sat on. The shower holder was flimsy and the owner pointed out that it was easily broken. It was not fit for purpose and the thin plastic shroud snapped on adjusting the shower. The staircase to the second bedroom did not meet any regulatory standard. It is an accident waiting to happen. I can send a video of the staircase to Vbro as required. The outside area is full of weeds and not maintained as the photograph. The head and footboard are not fastened to the master bed but simply leaned against mattress. Again dangerous. Overall this property is not what it seems. I would welcome a discussion with Vbro customer care team regarding this.

Nous contestons fermement cet avis, qui ne reflète ni la réalité des lieux ni l'expérience de nos nombreux voyageurs. La Maison Poème est un hébergement labellisé, répondant à des exigences d'accueil, de qualité et de sécurité. Les affirmations selon lesquelles le logement serait dangereux ou impropre à la location sont inexactes. Concernant la chaise, aucun incident n'avait jamais été signalé. Quant au support de douche, vous aviez été informés qu'il était fragilisé et priés de ne pas l'utiliser. Cette consigne n'a pas été respectée. L'escalier et les caractéristiques du logement sont clairement visibles sur les photographies de l'annonce. Vous omettez en revanche de préciser que le logement a été laissé dans un état nécessitant un ménage exceptionnel : terrasse sale et en désordre, tapis de la maison sortis pour votre chien, mobilier déplacé ayant endommagé le pied du parasol. Malgré cela, nous n'avons pas facturé les frais de ménage supplémentaires, ceux liés à votre animal ni les autres dégradations constatées. Nous ne pouvons accepter que des voyageurs causent des dommages, ne respectent pas les consignes, puis mettent publiquement en cause notre hébergement afin d'échapper à leurs responsabilités. À titre exceptionnel, nous ne recommandons pas ces voyageurs à d'autres hôtes. Le respect des lieux, du mobilier, des consignes communiquées et de la transparence lors de la réservation constitue, selon nous, la base d'une relation de confiance entre voyageurs et hébergeurs.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans la charmante petite maison de Myriam et aurions adoré rester plus longtemps ! Myriam est une hôtesse formidable, réactive, flexible et de bon conseil pour notre voyage. Une fois installés dans la Maison des Poèmes, Bourron-Marlotte est un village plein de charme, chargé d'histoire et d'atmosphère. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et avons savouré le luxe de laisser la voiture à la maison et de prendre le train directement pour Paris – un jeu d'enfant et incroyablement abordable grâce à la billetterie unique désormais en Île-de-France. Une maison magnifique. Une hôtesse formidable. Tout simplement parfait. Un grand merci, Myriam!
