One of the best locations on the island!!

LARIMAR is a luxurious one bedroom apartment overlaid in wood. It is accentuated by a gray and white theme which is surrounded by soft lighting. The bedroom is fitted with a queen-size bed built with your comfort in mind. The kitchen is furnished with a full size gas range & refrigerator in the midst of a modernly designed kitchen, while the bathroom is fitted with a contemporary shower among other features. This apartment opens out onto the ground level directly in front of the pergola which overlooks the rock garden and the Tyrell Bay harbour just a little way off.

Dave & Ayeesha are very friendly & accomodating hosts. Our stay at Larimar was lovely. A nice retreat after a long hot day at the boat yard.

A special and unique property in a location totally unlike developed islands. Dave is a marvellous host known to all locally and could not be more helpful and friendly. Not for those who want the typical sun lounger based stay… but a fantastic experience for those want something soecial

Awesome stay at Tyrell Bay, Carriacou

Lovely apartment with all the amenities. Private and quiet. Great location with great views and a spectacular garden and outdoor sitting area. Dave was great. Picked me up upon arrival and dropped me off upon departure. Given the opportunity I will definitely look to stay there again.

Infinite Stars

Could not say more kind things about the host and the property. It was absolutely beautiful and the subtle touches really made us feel right at home. Dave is like the unspoken mayor of southern Carriacou and his warmth made a very lasting impression on us. Highly highly highly recommend!

On top of Carriacou

Dave,Ayeesha and Davidson went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The setting which our apt was in was very special amongst papaya trees, banana and many more. Our unit was clean and nicely decorated. Location is very ideal to walk to Tyrrel Bay and marina with several nice restaurants and beach bars. Looking forward to a return trip!

Dave and Ayeesha were great hosts. Dave picked us up from the ferry terminal and we were very comfortably situated with a full kitchen and nearby shopping. The views from Dee’s Pearl of both the Caribbean and Atlantic sides were breathtaking and Dave provided us with many options of things to do on the island. The walk up the hill was great exercise! If you’re a fisher person, Dave has some awesome insights. My only regret is that we should have stayed longer to fully enjoy the place and the island!

Great stay and excellent host

Dave was super helpful and friendly throughout our short (2 nights) stay. He picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry and stopped by the supermarket so we could pick up some supplies during our arrival. The place was clean and Dave's garden was very pretty (loved the turtle and the rabbits!) - it's clear he and his family have put a lot of work into the grounds. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about Carriacou and also recommended us a great snorkeling/island hopping tour (Froggy's Reef Tours). Heads up that the place is up on a hill but the location is excellent for the views and just ~10 minutes from the restaurants and shops along the main road. Also, this is the first floor apartment but still quiet and plenty of privacy with the curtains!

Lovely sky high apartment with stunning vistas

Dave & Ayeesha are magnificent hosts for their beautiful in- the- clouds apartment within short walking distance of Tryrell Bay harbor and beach. The two bedroom suite had a full kitchen which they generously stocked with groceries by request. Dave offer a gratis pick up and drop off at the ferry which is about a 20 minute walk away but is accessed via a steep hill. Tyrrell Bay has a laid back vibe: conch on the beach, rum and soca at the dining shacks in the evening, with easy access to the local buses (vans) that takes you anywhere on the island. I would avoid the only local dive shop run by an incredibly hostile (to black customers only) owner. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

Caribbean vibes in Carriacou

We were lucky enough to spend 3 days in this peaceful paradise. The apartment is situated on the hills overlooking Tyrell Bay and is in walking distance to several restaurants. It was lovely to watch sailing boats enter the bay while we drank our morning coffee. Peaceful and quiet. It is located on a steep road, but we walked it several times, even though our host Dave or Alyessa would have picked us up, and there were taxis as well. The apartment is clean and decorated as a boat cabin, and the bedroom is comfortable with A/C and a fan. The property overlooks a beautiful garden of tropical plants and flowers. Our host son Davidson, gave us a tour of the animals and gardens. Dave was extremely helpful in picking us up at the airport and dropping us off at the ferry terminal. If you want a taste of Carriacou, this is it. We plan on returning.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We had close to a 360 degree view of the sea from this high level apartment. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the owner was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent views and great host

Dave’s nicely furnished apartments are located on a hill with a great view overlooking Tyrell Bay with its marina and facilities, including restaurants and shops. Dave is a very communicative and accommodating host who does everything he can to make your stay in Carriacou memorable and enjoyable. He upgraded my unit unit when I arrived, picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry terminal, and provided restaurant and tour recommendations. Highly recommended. You can also check out the reviews on other booking sites to get feedback from other recent guests.
