Disappointed :(
My family and I are very familiar with renting vacation homes and expect more when staying in the higher priced homes. This home has a beautiful view and upon arrival thought it was nice. But inside was in a lot of disrepair. Kitchen is NOT fully stocked. Pans were so used the one had a hole in it. We had two old stainless steel pans to use. Toaster had all the buttons busted and was unusable. Garbage disposal button is pushed through and unusable. Bathrooms had clumps of hair everywhere in showers and they were worse than a truck stop and I had to clean upon arrival. Toilets were not clean. There are many things you cannot tell from pictures. Front door knob was falling off. Many outlets didn’t work. Pool heater didn’t work (ad has since been changed to reflect but was not in the ad when I booked). Shower faucets in two of the 3 bathrooms were broken but usable. In the bedrooms, all of the beds were really uncomfortable. So soft that you were bottoming out. The lights in 2 of the bedrooms didn’t work. Only 2 of the 5 tvs worked at all. The internet didn’t work and host said he would give update but there were none. (Might be beyond his control). We ended up leaving the island early. The grill was some old propane grill converted to a charcoal grill with no handle but a piece of rebar bent to hook the top. I let the host know we were leaving early and why but no reply. Very disappinted.
