Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful getaway. Situated on 4 acres of lush, countryside greenery, directly overlooking Four Mile Creek (yes you may fish if you like!). Tucked away from the city noise yet super-conveniently located: 5-minute drive to Spooky Nook Sports Complex and Downtown Hamilton, 15-minute drive to Miami University and Oxford, 50-minute drive to Cincinnati, one hour drive to Dayton, Ohio.

Lovely cottage on the creek

We love staying here! Everything is so clean, beds are comfortable, and we have everything we need. The yard is great for our pups and the peaceful creek is an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Really a cozy cottage

Nice cottage with creek access in backyard. The host was easily reachable for questions or concerns. Very clean cottage.

Perfect getaway for Cincinnati and Miami families.

This was our second time staying here and it was even better than the first time. We had our sons drive from school, made them home-cooked meals, enjoyed downtown Hamilton and reconnected. A perfect place for our family.

Great Place in the Country

We loved this place. It's perfect for the two of us. Kitchen had what we needed. Bed was comfortable. We appreciated being able to park in the garage. The lighted Christmas tree in living room was a nice touch to make it feel even more homey. The owner/manager was very good with communication.

Super relaxing

This was our second time staying and it was wonderful. The property is so private, yet close to everything. Wyatt was a great host, easy to communicate with and has all the amenities you could need. We will definitely stay again!

Great American Eclipse

We had a wonderful time at this property viewing the eclipse and kicking back. We loved the creek and identifying all the birds. Very peaceful and lovely.

A piece of Heaven

We enjoyed our mini trip. Nice home and was able take our dog Maggie Mae. We were very comfortable there. Going into town was so easy. The restaurants were were also very nice. A beautiful town and loved all the rolling hills. The home was so stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Perfect home to reconnect

We rented this house for a weekend and had our Red Hawk and Bearcat meet us there. It was wonderful. Everything we needed and more. The kitchen let me make some home cooked meals. We all enjoyed the charm of Hamilton. And the college students slept in for a mid term refresh. The best part? We brought our pups! We will be back!

Great weekend stay

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint house. Set back away from all the hustle and bustle, it was just what we needed for a weekend going into the holidays. The yard was beautiful with a creek just a few steps from the back patio. Although it was a cold weekend, drinking coffee there every morning was the perfect way to start the day. The house was clean and beyond welcoming. Perfect cabin feels. We’ve already talked about when we can schedule with Wyatt again. The check in process was easy to follow and convenient. The house had everything you’d need however we brought most of our own things. One of the best places we’ve stayed in a while. The location was about 10-15 minutes from the main parts of town but was an easy drive to get anywhere you needed.

What a little hidden gem!!

We absolutely loved Wyatt’s home! Plenty of room, very clean, comfortable beds…and a wonderful backyard on a creek! Our dogs were in heaven!! We loved all the little make you feel at home touches throughout the home too! We will definitely be returning renters!!

Visit with my new grandbaby :)

Great cozy place to stay! Owner was very easy to communicate with. My teenage son and older son as well as daughter in law had a great time exploring the creek and viewing deer right off the back porch while I played with my newest member of the family. It was a very relaxing visit. Plenty of pots and pans and dishware available to use. They even had a portable crib there to use(very handy).

Guys Weekend Sept-2024

House size was reasonably good for a group of 6 adults. Seating in the living room space was kind of limited, but not a huge deal at all. House was clean and reasonably stocked with linens, laundry supplies, kitchen utensils, and bathroom essentials. Outdoor space was also nice with patio furniture and a fire pit w/ seating. Even though the weather has been very dry and the creek level was down, we were still able to find areas of good fishing.

Clean/comfy/cozy

We had a wonderful experience here. The location was private enough but still a short drive from vendors. It was also in close proximity to many neat sites. Our communications with the owners was very positive. We will stay here again.

Beautiful home with everything you would ever need. Wonderful back patio that offered beautiful view of the river with enjoyable nature. Home owner promptly responded to any questions before arriving. Just wish we would of had more time to enjoy. 100% would return.

Scenic and peaceful

The property was "as advertised" and more. The house was very comfortable and inviting. We loved having a waterway outside the back door. It also was convenient to the various events/locations we visited in Oxford and Eaton. Thanks, Wyatt, for providing such a wonderful stay. - Laura & family.

This place is amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The Miami River is literally in the backyard. There are trees and foliage that separate this property from the neighbors so it feels very secluded. Our dogs were in HEAVEN! The house is very well appointed. Everything we needed was provided. The attention to detail in the accommodations was above and beyond what was expected. They had slippers and robes! Not something you’d expect at a VRBO. This was such a nice, relaxing place to spend a few days at. We will definitely book again!

Everything you need, with a tranquil creek right outside the back deck.

House is cute, kitchen was VERY well stocked and there was plenty of room for all to spread out. Communication was exceptional and rapid. Wish we had more time to enjoy creekside activities, the setting was very lovely. TIP: Hamilton is a cute town and we took in the Urban Backyard which featured live music and food trucks and was 100% family friendly.

What a wonderful peaceful getaway!

Scheduling: Wyatt was quick to respond to any/all inquires! He made it easy and answered everything fully and promptly. The property: WOW! This was the cleanest and most welcoming place we have had on VRBO yet! From the message that was awaiting us on the chalkboard to the well prepared laminated informational binder, to the warm, clean and inviting décor, it was fabulous! It was my husband's 67th birthday, so me, my hubby, my grown daughter and her husband enjoyed a 3 night stay at this most quiet and peaceful place with a creek (which was a raging river for a couple of days due to being swollen by storms). We wen to Jungle Jim's grocery and several other places and took in the town of Hamilton Ohio. Sitting next to the creak we were able to enjoy a fire and listening to nature, and it is close to everything when we wanted to go shopping or a nice restaurant. During the torrential rain storms that first day, Wyatt's parents came to check on us frequently to make sure we were comfortable and took care of the property to ensure we were safe and warm. Overall, I would love to come back to this peaceful cottage for another weekend with family or just my hubby. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway.
