Lake George Weekend
This house was totally serviceable for our two families - including several teenagers. It was nice for the teens that two bedrooms were connected so they could be together and also have some space. The house was large enough for 9 with several spots to sit visit with each other and a lovely view from the deck.
A few notes. The listing does not describe the location which is not a neighborhood per say, more of a glamping type cottage community with two larger houses, including this one. The fire pit was communal. There was not much privacy. We had expected an actual neighborhood. The kids did enjoy the pool, ping pong and cornhole that was set up for all in the cottage development.
The kitchen could use some additional serveware and plates/etc. We did some cooking and found the kitchen layout very awkward. Bathrooms were very small and tight for 9 people - one full bath upstairs and one with a very small shower downstairs off the kitchen. In addition the whole house could use a spruce up. Some new more comfortable furniture inside and out, basic painting/making sure lights have working bulbs, general maintenance would go a long way.
Not a bad stay but not our favorite rental either. We did enjoy Lake George and all it had to offer.
