Nestled along the banks of Deep Creek just outside downtown Bryson City, this quaint, two-bedroom cabin is your ticket to experiencing the splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains. This rental offers easy, year-round access to all the attractions including hiking, fishing, swimming, and sight-seeing. At the cabin, enjoy the peaceful serenity of creekside ambiance. A outdoor, stone firepit offers a relaxing setting to relax with friends and family while listening to the burble and flow. In the summer months, it's a cooling spot for a dip - kids will love splashing in the shallow water while hunting for crayfish under rocks. Deep Creek is also popular among anglers as a hotbed for brown trout.

The home's single-level layout warmly welcomes guests with comfortable furnishings and modern essentials including free WiFi and a private washer/dryer. The living room offers a cozy gathering place for group downtime, with a sofa and easy chairs, plus a large, wall-mounted smart TV. The full kitchen is well-equipped for homemade meals and includes a dishwasher for easy clean up. A dinette in the kitchen offers seating for four. In the mornings, breath in the crisp mountain air while enjoying a cup of coffee from one of the classic, wood rocking chairs on the covered front porch.

When you are ready to explore, you'll find no shortage of things to do and see. Head into downtown Bryson City for local shopping and dining or to catch the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The popular, Deep Creek Trailhead, leading to three waterfalls, is an easy hike loved by all just three miles away.

This is a very comfortable house. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. The location was very convenient to town. Loved all of the storage available in the bathroom. It was nice to have a washer and dryer but beware, there is not an iron or ironinging board at the house.

The only problem was the doorknob kept falling off the bathroom door - it locked us in there a couple of times. Also, the washer could not work without walking across the floor and the dryer didn’t heat up. Other than that it was great.

Overall nice location by the creek. Dishwasher didn’t work. Not enough towels were left at the home and had bad experience w Vacasa customer service getting this taken care of. Once the local manager was involved, it was resolved. No extra linens were available at the home. We enjoyed our time with family in Bryson city, grilling out by the creek and skipping rocks in the creek.

Location was great, nice small neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay. Will likely book here again, we frequently come to the area and have a few locations that we like....this stay is now on that list.

I came for fly fishing around Bryson City. The cottage is on Deep Creek. I fished several streams and rivers. Love the town and the area.

The area was good as it was close to town and right by the creek that my son liked skipping rocks and fishing. However, the inside was outdated and had a musty smell. The comforters smelt musty and we needed to wash them. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. We found a few live spider and my wife/son hate spiders. One of the smoke alarms had low battery and started chirping, luckily it started on the morning and not at night when we were sleeping. The heater in the living room didn’t turn on when we arrived late at night but the next morning I checked the breaker and that was tripped. It worked after I fixed it. The place has potential but needs some TLC…

Simple on the creek

We spent an evening just laid on a blanket at the creek in the back yard . It’s one mile to the train , and town . Good location. Easy to get to , not a strenuous drive or driveway . We will plan to stay again next time if available.

Great location

We loved the close proximity to town, definitely not safe to walk but very easy to drive in. During our stay we went to Waynesville, Cherokee and even ended up in Gatlinburg with no trouble. Definitely a good location to stay. I do recommend bringing your own wood if you’re looking to have a fire! The Italian restaurant in town was amazing, get there early!

Deep Creek Shambala

We had a wonderful stay overall. However, unless the AC situation gets fixed, we probably won't stay they next year. The last time we stayed there, the AC was temperature controlled AC. This time there was window units in the bedrooms and living room. The windows that the AC units were in didn't have proper coverage. The grass hadn't been mowed. I hope the AC issue gets fixed. Sleeping in the bedroom with the AC unit running was like sleeping in a room with a vacum cleaner running all night. The network name and password that were given were not right but I rebooted the router and used the network name and password that were on the label of the router. I want to stay there again but not with window air.

The house is very nice and well equipped with kitchen ware. House was clean and large rooms and everything worked. Area was quite and relaxing with creak next to it. The area was close to Bryson City and train depot with short drive to Cherokee.

Very nice with one big fault.

Trash was leftover from last tenant. One roll of tissue paper is not enough for 2 for a week. Got sorry from property manager for Trash, with its picked up weekly, not,we were there 8 days. If not for that it would have been 5 stars all around

the place is very nice, but when we got to the property it smelled a bit bad. We entered the bedrooms and they smelled ugly. The closets were full of blankets on the carpet, they were not folded, we could not store clothes, but at night when we tried to take a shower, we realized that the curtains were very dirty, with moo, hair and dog food on the floor.
