The Olive Woods House is located in the heart of the Catskills - a two bed, two bath, light and airy cottage cradled in a hill of ferns with a valley to mountain vista. The home features thoughtfully appointed rooms to ensure a comfortable stay and plenty of outdoor spaces to slow down, enjoy the fresh air and truly take a break from busy lives.

The space
Our light, bright and super cozy home features all the modern amenities (Apple TV, bluetooth speakers, reliable super high-speed cable internet (200+Mbps download, 20+Mbps upload) for your Zoom/Google Meet/video conferences) you need to stay connected and curated for your enjoyment with a selection of books, games, puzzles and more coffee brewing devices and houseplants than seems reasonable.

The bounty of "outdoor living" areas really make this home feel magical; a screened-in dining porch for morning coffee or summer evenings outside, BBQ grill, a moss-covered gazebo, multiple deck spaces and a fire pit area for roasting marshmallows and star gazing surrounded by seasonal ferns and perennial gardens.

The house is nestled against a forest of trees and set back on a calm country road with a view of the Catskill mountains and relatively few neighbors.

There is a small owner’s cottage set back on the property away from the main home. We will notify you if we will be there during your stay.

We hope you have a chance to explore this amazing area but will understand if you'd prefer to make yourselves at home and stay put - we often do! The entire home, outdoor spaces and grounds (6+ acres of backwoods behind the house, the forest extends for miles) are available for your enjoyment.
