It was an awesome experience fishing and staying on Weiss Lake, the only problem we had was the directions sent us to a house down the street but one simple call to the owner and she had us in the driveway

The host was great and her communication was awesome!! The place was perfect for us staying with dogs, they are part of our family and there was a place to walk them and room for our crates! The AC was in each room, clean home, no pests and clean bathrooms/shower and great space outside and inside! Highly recommend staying here!! The pier and water is perfect!!

This is a very peaceful place right on the lake. It has a screened in porch overlooking the boat dock on deep water. My husband and adult son caught several crappie off the dock and enjoyed themselves. I would not want to do much cooking here as the kitchen is small but there are grills on the porch that would be great. I also recommend Tony's Steak Barn and Decks and Docks. This would not be the best place for small children or older adults. The sidewalk down to the lake is very steep. But it is a great place if you want a peaceful place to stay on deep water. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. Thank you for letting us stay at your comfortable, peaceful property!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for being such gracious guests! We’re so glad your husband and son made memories on the dock — crappie off the deep water is hard to beat! We appreciate you highlighting the peaceful atmosphere and screened porch; that’s truly what makes this property special. Your restaurant recommendations for Tony’s Steak Barn and Decks and Docks are wonderful additions for future guests as well! For anyone considering a stay, we want to echo our guest’s thoughtful observations: our home is intentionally cozy and petite — perfect for those who want to spend their time on the water, not inside! The kitchen is compact, so we recommend taking advantage of the porch grills or exploring the amazing local dining options nearby. The path to the lake also includes a steep sidewalk, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or young children — both are noted in our listing description, and we want every guest to feel safe and fully informed before booking. We’re proud to offer one of the most affordable deep-water properties on Weiss Lake, and our goal is simply for guests to unplug, get on the water, and enjoy everything this beautiful lake has to offer. We were happy to accommodate an early arrival three hours before check-in at no charge, and we always strive to be responsive throughout every stay. We hope to welcome you back soon!
