Your Appalachian dream home awaits at this beautifully renovated getaway, perched on a mountaintop overlooking Lake Lure at Rumbling Bald Resort Community. Highlights include a gourmet kitchen, dual living areas, finely furnished bedrooms, and two spacious decks offering enchanting panoramic views. Delight in a plethora of resort benefits. Resort amenities include a lakefront beach, heated pool, golf, tennis, dining, and a wellness center.

Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa and armchair in the living area. Cozy up by the wood-burning stove and watch shows on the 55-inch smart TV. Gather for a movie in the bonus living area, featuring a sectional (which converts to a sleeper), two armchairs, soaring vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, coffee station, a 65-inch smart TV, and an arcade game. Prepare dishes in the gourmet kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, a farm sink, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Gather for meals around the dining table. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer.

Take in the dazzling mountain views from the two spacious decks. Four rockers offer a prime spot to start the day with fresh coffee and marvelous vistas. Socialize on the cushioned sectional and love seat. Or, relax with a good book in the hammock chair. Chimney Rock is five miles from your door, and Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals within a 15-minute drive. Lake Lure Rental Boats offer weekly, daily and half-day rentals as well as discounts for Pinnacle Vacasa stays. Explore the culture and cuisine of Black Mountain (40 mins) and Asheville (one hour).

RESORT AMENITIES
Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated pool (open year round) 2 outdoor pools and lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball and tennis courts, corn hole, horse shoes, lawn games, playground. 2 world class golf courses (Apple Valley and Bald Mountain). 3 Dining options (Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, Eagles Nest).

THINGS TO KNOW
-Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April. Please be sure to reach out directly to organizations/businesses for current hours of operation.
-Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet.
-Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.
-Lake Lure VROP #2010031.
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
-This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
-All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES
-This property is not located within the Rumbling Bald gated area, but has full access to all Rumbling Bald amenities
-Guest Passes can be picked up daily between 8:30am and 7:30pm at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby of Legends on the Lake.
-The name listed on the reservation must be present to collect the passes.
-It is preferred that reservations are submitted at least 5 days prior to arrival. Any last-minute requests will likely result in delays receiving your guest passes.
-Your reservation will need to include the number of guests 12 and over so that Rumbling Bald will provide the correct number of passes
-Passes will need to be picked up during business hours from Rumbling Bald guest services.
-There is a $50 fee if any passes need replaced.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
