The Space
Newly renovated and beautifully furnished, The Onyx at Lake Texoma sits on over half an acre and is designed for comfort, connection, and fun. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, church retreat, or company offsite, this home provides space to relax and room to play — indoors and out.

Nearby marinas and boat ramps make it easy to bring your own boat or rent one for the day. After a day on the lake, gather around the fire pit or grill out.

Guests must be at least 25 to book. No smoking indoors or on the grounds (including cigarette butts). Photo ID may be required upon check-in. No prom parties. Additional fees and taxes may apply. NO PETS ALLOWED

Lake Access
The public beach on Arkansas Street is just a few blocks away. Island View Park in Pottsboro is about 6 minutes by car. Nearby marinas include Little Mineral Marina (day slips, launch areas) and Lighthouse Marina (boat, pontoon, and kayak rentals). Anchor Up Jet Ski Rental also offers Jet Skis.

• Linens & Towels: Provided
• Starter Supplies: Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, and 3-in-1 shampoo/shower gel
• Coffee: Regular drip maker with mesh basket (bring your own coffee & condiments)
• Propane: Provided when available; if you need to replace it, text a receipt photo for reimbursement
• Outdoors: Grounds are maintained frequently, but as with any country home, you may see a few spider webs. A telescoping brush is available on the patio.

The inside of the house was really good clean everybody loved the beds so comfy, has plenty of stairs so for littles u gotta watch out. The outside tho was a mess definitely ready for a deep clean. But with a nice clean it could b an amazing place.

Summer reunion with kids & grandkids.

The Onyx was very spacious. It was decorated so nicely. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need from chip clips, batteries, and every kind of cooking utensil you might need! The cabinets stored plenty of dish ware, cooking pans, and small appliances. Our entire family (ages 3 to 73) played bags, board games, badminton and of coarse cooled off at the beach. We were so glad there were beach chairs available. The country setting was just the right place to enjoy porch sitting. It was a comfortable home to make family memories.

Family time

The house worked well for our stay but it was not a 5 bedroom house. The one room that was counted as a bedroom is an open loft with a triple bunk bed that really only two beds are usable. If you need the hide-a-bed for your group make sure to check for sheets before it gets too late cause we did not have sheets and the bed was needed to accommodate our group. The house has lots of stairs so if you have someone unable to do stairs don’t pick this house. We were expecting a very clean house since we were sent a message before we even arrived saying make sure you wipe up spills on floor, cabinets and countertops. We swept the floor often to keep it clean and was shocked by the hairballs and dirt in the kitchen. The outdoor space is definitely the most impressive part of the house. Unfortunately it too three guys in our group close to an hour to get the patios cleaned up enough to use. We realize it is winter but thought it would have been spruced up for our arrival. The yard was also difficult to use because the sprinklers ran multiple times a day as they are connected to the septic system and with 12 people in the house there was excess water. Maybe during the summer months the watering wouldn’t be noticed but all the yards were solid mud. Which made it harder to keep the floors clean as requested. Overall we had a wonderful time spent with family but there was also some frustration.

Thanks, Stephen. I am glad that you had some good family time. I am sorry no one in the group enjoyed the cozy top loft. It is a small space, but some people love it. We apologize that we forgot the extra sheets but we were happy to help you get them. The water system was beyond the management teams control, but thank you for communicating with me during your stay and I am glad we were able to help with all we could. The weather can be fierce and unforgiving at certain times of the year with all those beautiful trees on the property. I have stayed in that house myself and it was immaculately clean. I apologize for even one hairball, that is abnormal. But again, I am glad you were still able to enjoy some great family time. That's what it's all about :) Thanks!

Nice House!

This is a really nice house to stay in. Plenty big enough for our family of 10. The kitchen is situated well so that everyone can visit while cooking is going on. VERY nice pots & pans to cook with! It has a well appointed kitchen. We did not run out of hot water after a day at the lake, which was really nice! Lots of showers going on! Hilary was easy to get hold of and checked on us throughout the stay. Our only drawback was the amount of spider webs in the outside sitting areas. Apparently, there are a LOT of spiders in this area! :) Overall, a great house to make wonderful memories in!

Onyx House Trip

We had a great trip to the Onyx. Honestly, it was a little pricy, but fit our needs exactly. We had 11 people and the house was very adequate with rooms, outdoor activities, and visiting. We had a wonderful time. Lights were a little funky, but well labeled once we figured it out. Lock Box was kind of hidden, but we managed that finally. Other than those two very small concerns, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone with 5 *'s. Working with Hilary (property person) was so easy and she was very informative with groceries, and other needs. Beautiful home. Marguerite McCarthy

The Onyx

Love the decor and style of the remodel! Responsiveness of the property manager was also great and how well stocked the house was! We have small children so it was not the most young child friendly property the bunks are not really safe for kids and the dropped living room also made us nervous with the older crowd as well. Location was not exactly what I expected for so close to the lake/price (definitely the nicest house in that area by far). Overall I think it’s a great getaway for the 10-65 crowd.
