The place was really nice and clean. Check in was simple. It was less then mile from our beach fishing camp. Beds really comfortable. Will definitely be back next year.

2nd stay was just as nice!

It’s our second year in a row staying at the “Gorda Getaway” and it exceeded my expectations both times. The place was spotless and the location right next to the beach is perfect. The host is always nice and professional! Definitely a 5-star experience!

Getaway fishing trip

Favorite parts were the view and the custom walk in shower! Super cute and cozy beach cabin! Everything we needed was already there! Will definitely come back next time!!

Great time.

This is the second time we have stayed at this home. We really enjoy staying here. The house is nice and clean and the property manager is quick to respond. We will be back.

My husband & I just wanted a quick getaway & to bring home some gulf shrimp. The house is quite nice. No dishwasher, but for the two of us, it was no problem. We left a little earlier than we normally would as we wanted to get out of the way of a new refrigerator being installed. The owner communicated with us really well. It’s quite a walk over the dunes to the beach from the house so we drove.

Good Value Close to Beach

House is nice and clean. Grill was not usable which put a major cramp in our food plans. Check in was delayed due to lack of access information. Overall nice clean house close to all the things. I would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent Stay

I stayed here 3 nights with a 5 year old, 2 year old, wife, and small dog. House sits a few hundred yards from the beach. We drove down the street and onto the beach- definitely recommend 4x4 if driving on the beach. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The host was responsive and courteous. Overall we would absolutely stay here again, we rate the stay 9/10. Only recommendation to make this home 10/10 would be to do away with the colored lights on the balcony that come on at night- they can be quite distracting when looking at stars. And the chairs sit too low to where the balcony completely blocks the view from the amazing vantage point you have with this patio! 2 small changes to elevate this stay from great to perfect :)

Wonderful house!

House is beautiful inside and out. Shower is huge. Beds are comfortable. Outside is spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach staycation

The beach and cabin were nice. It was clean and seems relatively new. The kitchen was well stocked. The covered parking was handy with the rain.

We LOVED it!

We absolutely loved this property. It was clean. It is in a good location. Just everything. It was the perfect place for our first family vacation with our 17 month old daughter. We plan to stay again!
