Loblolly Cottage - Enchanting Retreat set among towering pines.

Loblolly Cottage is a peaceful retreat set among towering pines on our
property in Germantown NY. This guest suite harkens back to an authentic 1930s Adirondack cabin that features a reclaimed barn wood interior with vaulted ceilings and antique beams. Outside enjoy our fantastic deck with a Cabana kitchen and fire pit. A short stroll will lead you to the heart of the hamlet where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. Loblolly Cottage is a unique one-of-a-kind vacation experience.

Our stay was wonderful! Loblolly Cottage is very cute, impeccably clean, private and comfortable. It has it's own driveway and parking. Everything is ready for you. We were there on a rainy weekend but the outdoor seating is beautiful and wish we could have used it. The host met us at the beginning and left us alone the rest of the time. Loblolly Cottage is highly recommended!

This is a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cottage. The attention to design detail, stained glass windows in the peaks, lantern wall lights, and barn wood beams, makes this a special place. We were there on a cold and rainy weekend and it was a perfect place to just relax.

Incredible cottage, incredible host, incredible area

This was such a wonderful trip. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area around the cottage is so great as well. My wife and I spent some time relaxing on the hammock and the swing chair. Billy is a great host and gave us information about all the nearby things to do, see and eat. The location is great also, 20 - 25 minutes away from Hudson, Saugerties, Rhinebeck, and Kingston, which we went to for shopping and dining.

Cozy cottage off the beaten path

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy location. Loblolly Cottage is a small space appropriate for no more than two, but has everything you may need through a smart, clean, and efficient design. The deck is a particular highlight. The host provided us with lots of guidance about the area, and was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely go back.

Can't Wait to Return!

We had a wonderful weekend in the Hudson Valley and can't thank Billy enough for how helpful and attentive he was. He struck the perfect balance of being welcoming and hospitable, but allowing us all the privacy and flexibility we needed. The cottage feels so homey with all the personal touches, and we felt quite comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend this cottage to anyone else visiting the area, and can't wait to come back ourselves!

Hi I'm Billy and I have been a resident of Germantown for 17 years and love all that the Hudson Valley has to offer, and I think you will too. I share my life in Germantown with my partner of 23 years and my dog Riley.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Come stay at Loblolly Cottage in the cutest town in America.

Germantown offers walkable sidewalks that lead to the heart of the hamlet where you'll find Gaskins, our 5-star restaurant, the famous Otto's Market, as well as a floral shop, a liquor store, retail shops and laundry facilities. Throughout the year, Germantown hosts many events such as the Town-wide Yard Sale, a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display, a wildly popular Halloween Trick or Treat night, and the Holiday Stroll in early December.

Getting around the Area:
Sidewalks, bicycles, Uber, Lyft, or your own car that can be parked in the cottage driveway.

この宿泊施設の特徴

You will love staying at Loblolly Cottage. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or maybe a writers retreat, Loblolly Cottage is perfect for you.

This very cozy place offers a one of a kind vacation experience set in the Catskill region of the Upper Hudson Valley. We are close to many popular destinations. Hudson is just 7 miles north, Rhinebeck is 10 miles to the South and the Catskill Mountain ski areas, hiking trails and waterfalls are just over the river and to the east.

From April to November our fabulous Cottage Deck set under towering pine trees is open. There you can lounge on a chaise, read a book in an Adirondack chair or take a nap in a hammock. In the outdoor Cabana Kitchen you can cook a fabulous meal or set up for happy hour. And in the evening build a fire in the fire pit and toast marshmallows under the stars.
