We loved this cabin… Tons of space and room for everyone to spread out. Our kids enjoyed using the hot tub. Would love to come in the summer as well and enjoy it when we have access to the lake :-)

Beautiful cabin overlooking the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside deck. The sunsets over the water were amazing! It was a very quiet area which makes for a great family retreat!

Cabin itself was great!!! However the hot tub was in very poor conditions. The outside lights were not working and on Thursday night my husband got in even tho it was dark. He came back up and said that the hot tub smelled funny. We purchased chlorine tablets the next day. In the daytime we could tell the water was very stagnant. My husband drained the tubbed cleaned it snd filled it back up. On Saturday night we sent my husband to the hospital by ambulance because he had gotten so sick. After our return home he saw an infectious disease doctor and told us he actually had a strain of e coli. He is now on iv antibiotics and getting better. Im not saying this is actually where it came from but its the only thing that makes sense. Overall the cabin was great. My kids and grandkids had a great time.

The host was very good. The house is beautiful and the views are excellent. In the spring and summer when the lake level is higher will be great for fishing or boating. Colors of the trees in the fall are amazing. Easy to get to Ellijay or Blue Ridge from the house. It is comfortable and inviting. Kitchen is perfect for a group and nice dining area. Spa has good views and is very quiet area. We had a nice time, very relaxed and cooked some nice meals. Grill was convenient and right out the front door by the kitchen. Nice place, had pretty much everything we needed. Nice weekend get away. Thank you.

Mountain retreat

This cabin was a lovely locale for a weekend family getaway! Room for everyone, a cozy fireplace and plenty of firewood, with a foosball table as well!

Perfect lake get away

We had a wonderful time on the lake and dock. The cabin was great and had most everything we needed. The parking is a little tight but we made it work.

Great stay with friends

We had 10 friends staying here for a quiet weekend of games, winery visits, hiking and fun. The cabin is very well suited for larger groups with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The dock is really nice too for some sun lounging or relaxing in floats on the water. There are great wineries and hiking trails within easy driving distance and downtown Blue Ridge and supermarkets are a very short drive away.

The cabin location was good. About 30 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge. Very rustic interior, could use up dating, but comfortable. Nice lake view.

Great getaway and beautiful sunsets

This house had a wonderful location, and the sunsets from the deck are fantastic. The house has a great floating dock and has a number of bedrooms where you can have privacy or join everyone else on the common areas. Great WiFi and entertainment options. Kids loved the football table. The house is a little old and dated, but is just what you need for a relaxing weekend away from it all, especially if you have kids!

Or you can simply choose to take a nap in the fresh, clear mountain air lulled by the hypnotic sound of a nearby trout stream. If you're looking for a little excitement. Discover the joy of a whitewater rafting adventure or a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Spend a day exploring our mountain art and culture, past and present, in the many galleries across the region or browse for antiques in the shops that line the surrounding mountain towns.

We had been looking for mountain lake property for several years but when we saw our cabin we bought it that day. The drive down the dirt road getting to the property seemed to make the horrible traffic in Atlanta seem like a distant memory. When we went out on the lake that day we were the only boaters to be seen and the surrounding mountains were pristine and beautiful. Since most of the lake is in the Chattahoochee National Forest you will find that to be commonplace. Couple that with the quiet and friendly neighbors and the beautiful sunsets from the dock and you'll never want to leave!
