Ideal Off-Grid Getaway

Elk Creek Ranch surpassed all expectations. The property itself, Elk Creek and surrounding countryside are a dream for those seeking some solitude and a little adventure. A really inspiring example of off-grid living with great amenities including well appointed kitchen and great wi-fi for those who wish to remain connected. Highly recommended!

Great Off-the-Grid Experience

This home is great! The location, set in a wilderness of sorts but still close-ish to town, was just the sort of get-away we were seeking. There is access to the creek on the property which is handy but the family friendly access was only accessible by car. Once we made it to the family friendly spot, only a 2 minute drive, it was super fun and the kids had a blast! There was also a car taker directly across the driveway from the house. When we booked the description indicated the house was miles from everything, which is what we wanted, so finding out the careers was right there was disappointing at first, but as it turns out it was a good thing the caretaker was close as there were a few needs we as guests had and so in the end we were grateful they were so close. It just would have been nice to know that ahead of time. This was our first off-the-grid experience, and it was great, we all enjoyed it. The caretaker and owner were so quick to respond to us as well, that is always a major deal for me. So well done there! The kitchen was well stocked and everything was easy to find and use. Overall we would highly recommend this house, it was great!
