Getaway to Lake Minnewaska

A newly remodeled vacation rental located in Glenwood, MN on Lake Minnewaska. With 100 feet of sandy beach lakeshore and dock, this rental is the perfect getaway spot for relaxing, boating, fishing (even ice fishing), golfing and exploring downtown Glenwood.

The owners are committed to slowing the spread of COVID-19. Additional cleaning and extended time between visitors will help to keep guests safe during each stay.

This property is nestled in a residential area along Lake Minnewaska and just 3 short blocks from Lakeside Ballroom, the city park and Dairy Queen!

Lakeshore Drive provides 4+ miles of road along the lake — perfect for running and biking. Two mountain bikes are available for guests to use. Please bring your helmet ( safety first!).

The kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, essential spices, coffee, and tea.

Lawn chairs are located on the beach for relaxing. The dock is available for guests to fish or tie up your boat. You can typically catch panfish from the dock! Bring your fishing poles and you can buy bait in town.

In the winter, hundreds of fish houses are spotted on Lake Minnewaska. A fish house can be made available during your stay - just ask when you make your reservation.

Check in was a breeze. The house was clean with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The neighbors are friendly. Across the street is a beautiful sandy beach which includes a dock. I would highly recommend!

The property was really clean and had everything you could need. Thoughtfully updated. The location was perfect and great for morning walks and easy access to the lake with a small beach right across the street which was not busy. Nice park and restaurant in easy walking distance as well as a DQ for the kids of course. Overall it was the perfect place for our family and would stay again. Also the beds were very comfortable

Anniversary stay

Property is conveniently located across from the lake and only blocks from downtown. Very friendly neighborhood. Brought our boat and was able to beach it and tie it off all week. Very spacious home with all the amenities we needed. Managed to get some great shots of the moon as well. Will stay here again!!!

Quiet Getaway

House was lovely and the proximity to the lake was perfect! I loved that we could just walk across the street and get in the lake as opposed to loading up a car and driving to a public beach. Friendly neighbors and a quaint little town make this a great quiet getaway for a couple or group of friends looking to reconnect.

Great place for relaxation

We had an amazing time here. Location was perfect as the lake was right there and subway, store, dairy queen were all just a short walk away. I wasn't fond of the neighborhood as it looked like some properties weren't as well taken care of as this one but all in all a great experience.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay with easy check in and communication from hosts. Very nice house with plenty of room for the family. Lots of extras provided. The lake is just across the street so had a beautiful view from the house. Emily made our first VRBO experience easy and Robbie shared some fishing advice. They set up a fish cleaning station for us which was very helpful.

Peaceful, Comfortable Getaway

Having stayed in many VRBO properties, I would say two very important criteria stood out: the home was immaculate and the owner was responsive and kind. There were also so many touches that made us feel immediately at home. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and anything you could possibly want is supplied. It is an older home that has been very nicely updated. This one is a keeper!

It's a great location in Glenwood, and the perfect place for a family get together. We used it as our family gathering spot and those who stayed here enjoyed the comfy beds. Highly recommended!

Very Nice Stay

Very spacious, nice shaded front yard and walking distance to downtown Glenwood. It was a plus to have our boat tied to the dock for the week. We checked out Rolling Forks Vineyards which was a fun experience. We sampled some wine and had delicious pizza on their patio overlooking the vines and Lake Minnewaska.

Perfect Location

My spouse and I stayed for a week and were especially pleased with the location which is within walking distance of downtown. The beach and dock are on the other side of the street that runs along the lake and in front of the house. There are lake views from the main bedroom and the living room. The house had every amenity that we needed for our stay. The bathroom is small but adequate. We would stay here again.
