This Mariposa Guest Ranch offers our guest a rare opportunity to stay on a 5 acre mini ranch located only 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Mariposa. The ranch home features 3 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will likely want to spend your time taking in the fresh mountain air under the gazebo on the back patio among the mature oak trees. Be sure to check out Mariposa's rich gold rush history!

Blessed isolation

This is a perfect property for getting away. Quiet, clean, easy access. We did Yosemite from here and had no issues. Would stay here again.

Clean and Quite place

We stayed for 5 days while visiting the Yosemite NP. Location wise, it was about 1 hour to the Arch Rock entrance and 50 minutes to the South entrance. The Arch Rock entrance was taken to visit the Yosemite Village area and the South entrance was taken to visit the Mariposa Groves. There was a great grocery store in town, 12 miles away. We were staying in a guest house of this ranch. The property had two cows, a horse, a couple turkeys and cats. I did not know about this before but it was cool for us. There was a house nearby for the caretaker. The house was clean and quiet. I enjoyed birdwatching and played with one of the cats. The big TV was awesome. The host was very responsive. Rebecca answered any texts in minutes or less. She would take care of issues promptly. The small issue was one of the bed had a very squeaky spring box. Other than that the rest were good. There was plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Water pressure was good and drains were not clogged. Plenty of plates, cups, pots, pans..etc in the kitchen.

Between Mariposa and Oakhurst

The location between towns was nice. A/C was excellent after being out in 106-115 degree heat. We grilled and enjoyed the use of kitchen. Thanks for our stay

Good Value for Property Size

We wanted a nice last min trip “close” to Yosemite so we found Rebecca’s place. From the house, it is about 1 hour drive to the park entrance, and then another 35 min to the village. It was not too bad and we didn’t mind the drive. The house was extremely comfortable and lovely. Instructions were very clear.

Great and secluded place

Had a wonderful time staying here for our Yosemite trip. We had some issue with cleaning, but the Host (and their family) were super kind and took care of everything and made us feel welcomed. Recommend staying here!

Absolutely perfect!!

Stayed on a lovely weekend in July 2022 with my two teenage children. Super clean and cozy lay-out. Location was about 15 minute drive to town. Mariposa is such a nice town!! Wild turkeys came around during our stay as well as mule deer! Due to Washburn Forest Fire, we had to take the Yosemite Valley entrance to the YNP. Beautiful drive but longer than expected. Kids loved having their own bedroom (and bathroom) and the kitchen was very modern and clean! Thank you so much for your communication, everything was spot on! Would highly recommend and would stay again!!

Cute and Quiet

We stayed here while doing day trips to Yosemite and Mariposa Grove. Great centralized location for that. The house was spotless and cozy. Loved the wild turkeys that would visit every day. Absolutely peaceful and quiet and great views of the stars at night. Took us about 15 minutes to get to Mariposa; we ate one night at the 1850 Restaurant and Brewery, which was excellent. We would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Quiet and Relaxing

Property was great. Far enough to get away, but close enough to Yosemite to not feel like a long drive. Quiet and peaceful. Our nights was so clear staring up into the sky.

In the heart of Sierra Nevada

Beds were incredibly comfortable! We were in Mariposa for a wedding and decided to make a trip of it and see Yosemite. It's about 90 minutes away. The home is in the country so plan accordingly. There's no 24 hour stores right down the street. Enjoy the WiFi and Netflix at the home because there is very patchy cell service out here. Don't rely on GPS. Plot the trip before you leave the house. Town of Mariposa is cute. Things we would have liked: mirrors in each bedroom and hangers in closets.
