Ceiling fan referenced had failed the week before this guest check-in and was located on a 25-ft high vaulted ceiling no way to replace in a 4-Hour turnaround window. As this house is a rental we focus on quality but not super expensive fixtures and upgrades to balance the substantially lower rent that we charge compared to other similar accommodations in or near the institution, as previous feedback has emphasized the desire for value over higher end amenities. This is a home built in the '60s with baseboard boiler heat common with that era and thus no ductwork, with reference in the listing to no Central AC window and floor units only. Thus the reference to noisy ACs is simply a reality of this fact and the resulting choice to have some AC over none. Lack of soap in the bathrooms was an oversight by cleaners who were replaced at the end of the season for for tendency to miss such things apologies offered! We feel very confident in the relative value of this property at a third to a half less than similar properties!
