Sophisticatedly beachy top-floor condo with Views, Views, Views! Hale Ono Loa #411 looks out over the oceanfront pool and across the expansive blue Pacific. Sunsets are breathtaking from your private lanai, with vibrant pinks and oranges reflecting across the water. Start your mornings with coffee while listening to the gentle rhythm of the waves, and during the winter months, enjoy front-row views of humpback whales breaching just offshore.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo offers a bright, comfortable layout with an open kitchen and living space designed for relaxed island living. The kitchen features stone countertops, a convenient breakfast bar, and is fully stocked with plateware, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, a blender, toaster, and coffee maker — everything you need to prepare meals to enjoy al fresco on the lanai.

The living room includes a large 60" Smart TV for cozy movie nights and a plush sofa that converts to a sleeper, accommodating up to four guests. An indoor dining table for four is perfect for meals with a view.

The bedroom features a comfortable king bed, a separate 40" TV, and glass doors that allow you to enjoy ocean views even while relaxing in bed. While air conditioning is not permitted in this complex, louvered windows and ceiling fans allow the cooling trade winds and ocean breezes to flow through the space.

The centrally located bathroom offers a spacious tiled shower with glass sliding doors and ample vanity space to get ready for a beach day or an evening out at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Coin-operated laundry facilities are available onsite on the 2nd and 3rd floors; please bring quarters. Laundry detergent is provided.

Hale Ono Loa is a beautifully landscaped oceanfront property featuring a large pool, shuffleboard, community gas grills, and two sun decks. The westernmost raised sun deck sits just above the ocean and is ideal for whale watching and sunset views, with the island of Lānaʻi as a stunning backdrop. The grounds are lush with tropical foliage, fragrant flowering trees, coconut palms, and banana trees. Located between the Kaanapali Resorts and world-famous Kapalua golf courses, you’ll be just minutes from dining, shopping, and some of Maui’s best beaches.

Hale Ono Loa means “House of Good Living,” and you’ll truly feel that spirit during your stay.

The Amenities listed online - 2 columns of maybe 15 items each - is usually what one can expect in the unit. “Washer” was listed and in the other column, “Dryer.” Then another line showed “Washer & Dryer.”My fault for not reading the entire Description, but you can see why this might be misleading to find this meant there were laundry facilities on another floor.

Sask girls escape -40C to Maui

We had an awesome stay! It has everything you need including all kitchen utensils/containers. Could see the whales every morning from the lanai. Fans did the trick for the heat! King bed was very comfy and pillows were awesome! Pool area is awesome as well as the parking :) We even cooked some food on the bbq!!! Coffee that you guys provided was the most special treat in the morning :) Thank you for the stay!

Superbe condo in a nice complexe. The view is stunning from the balcony. The swimming pool area is great but impossible to find any shadow during the day (less easy with a baby).

Comfortable and great view

The renovated condo with a well-equipped kitchen was very accommodating. Even without air conditioning, with the ceiling fans and ocean breeze the temperatures were comfortable. No washer & dryer in the unit was a bit of a nuisance, but manageable with a laundry room in the complex. Loved the ocean view.

Relaxing

Clean, and for the most part comfortable and quiet. Loved listening to the surf everynight and the breeze & fans kept the temp about 95% cool enough without AC. Unfortunately road/parking lot noise makes leaving bedroom window open a poor option. We felt bad we had to slam the front door to get it to close. Plenty of beach chairs but no snorkeling gear. Otherwise, unit was well stocked and in good condition.

Beautiful ocean front property.

Great place. We will definitely consider future stays. We had views of whales jumping out of the water from our balcony. We could see the ocean laying in the bed. The property was furnished with everything you'd need to cook if you want to get groceries. Various snacks and coffee provided including a couple of mugs to take home which was a nice touch. Convenient laundry room close by for extended stays. Highly recommend.

Absolute Gem

This property is even better than advertised! Wake up with a view of the ocean from the king bed, watch the sunset from the lanai or from one of the complex viewing decks. Plenty of sea life to see right from the viewing deck-up to four turtles swimming right up to the wall. The complex was so quiet and pleasant so that you can actually relax. The other condo owners that I met were lovely to me. The condo itself was impeccably clean, well organized, and stocked with everything I could possibly need. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Third Time - Still A Charm

This was our third stay at this condo and it has become my happy place. The view is exceptional, the location is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, the kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil you would need, the bed and furniture is comfortable, the laundry facilities are great, and the whale and turtle viewing can’t be beat. My only complaint this time was people playing music at the pool, sometimes more than one group. I just wish people would use headphones since maybe we all don’t want to hear your music.

Second Time - Still a Winner!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property - previous with different owners. The updated couch, lounge chair and curtains in the bedroom were a welcome change. This place is literally stocked with whatever you would need in the kitchen. The views are amazing - whales all day long! The pool area has plenty of seating and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We ran into an issue with one of the washing machines but the laundry is convenient otherwise. The place is walking distance to the Farmer’s Market and ABC store. The place just has a really chill vibe and the people staying there are generally respectful when it comes to noise, picking up after themselves, and we met some very nice people sitting around the place pool. I would come back here every year if I could - it is my paradise.

Needs some love

This is the 4th time staying in this condo unit over the past 6 years. It is definitely showing the wear and could really use some love - a coat of paint throughout, some deep tile cleaning, power wash of the lanai, some general overall deep cleaning, updating/cleaning of bathroom (moldy tile, rusty tub, faucet was super loose, etc), etc. Since the bedroom faces the road, it has always been noisy but we always knew that. Unfortunately, since last year, the neighbor across the street has set up some sort of gaming, music/media mixing system with a massive tv and there were people there all hours of the night (4am one night) making noise that made it difficult to sleep. The pluses of this place are strong - great views, excellent location close to restaurants, grocery stores, Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina, beautiful grounds, laid back pool/complex, and excellent whale watching! It’s just getting to the point where the pluses might not be outweighing the negatives

With that being said, there is not a beach off this location. There are some stair so the ocean but it’s rocky and the waves crash hard so not a place that would work if you have kids.The condo was updated nicely but there is not AC in the unit. This was my bad for not paying better attention to the listing.Also there is laundry on the property but no coin changers. It was hard to get stores to give us change to be able to use the machines. So great that it’s there, just bring your own quarters.
