Our goal was to find an island where we felt safe, and with people we felt were genuinely friendly. After searching many islands in the Bahamas, we found that on Eleuthera.
Ten Bay Beach and its surrounding cove area supports an abundance of sea life that feed on the coral. Guests are delighted to watch a variety of fish from the deck.
While the island offers a slow-paced and peaceful vacation, a number of restaurants can be found within easy driving distance of the house. Many visitors enjoy purchasing fish from the docks at Tarpum Bay or Governor's Harbour and cooking at home. Grocery stores on the island offer almost anything you need.
