Enjoyed our stay on the Indian River Lagoon

Everything was as advertised. Beautiful porch looking out onto the Intercoastal Waterway. Had a few plumbing issues, but there were enough bathrooms to get by.

Clean, well kept.

We enjoyed our week spent in Grant. Neat and clean. Children spent allot of time in pool. Dolphins were around dock most mornings.

Family Vacation

This property is an excellent location for a family vacation near the beaches in the Melbourne/Palm Bay Area. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need to cook and prepare meals for the family. The pool gets plenty of sunshine during the morning and afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee watching the sunrise in the mornings and saw dolphins by the docks. The children enjoyed fishing off the docks.

Great Memorial Day weekend get away with friends.

The description and pictures of the house online were complete accurate. However, pictures don't do justice to the amazing view from the massive second story balcony! We were able to see manatees, dolphins and several types of birds during our stay. Having access to the dock to fish directly across the street was a great bonus. Check-in was a breeze and we were even able to check in early. (an option I have never been offered by any other host) The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. With 5 bedroom and 5 baths space was not an issue. Communication was quick and easy from start to end. I would defiantly recommend this property to anyone who is traveling with a group, rather it be with children or adults.

Raw sewage backup

Day 1, arrived to 85 deg house, master bedroom fan not working and master bathroom toilet not flushing. Day 2 discovered both downstairs shower drains are slow and back up and when I communicated to the owner, they already knew and said we shouldn’t use them. Found we had to use a spoon handle to reach between counter and dishwasher to push the button to start it because it is installed too far under the counter. Filtered water faucet on kitchen sink is turned off and doesn’t work. Flood lights for pool don’t work and neither does light in pool, so evening swimming is in the dark. Thermostat was programmed to adjust to 85 each morning at 8 a.m. One of the downstairs bathroom door handles broke off when door stuck closed due to door frame wood routing and swelling from previous water damage. Dishwasher rack is rusted through. Day 5, both downstairs showers had sewage with crap flow up out of the drains into the shower stalls. Owner has septic serviced 4 hours later and finds it’s not the septic tank but a blockage and refuses to call out a plumber. Owner says just don’t use downstairs bathrooms and refuses any additional credit since they credited us on day2 for not being able to use downstairs showers. VRBO refused to help or give us a hotel since we only had one day left. We also had bugs dead or dying all over daily. Roaches, millipedes and ants. They would die, so the place has been sprayed but is poorly sealed since so many get in. I wouldn’t rent this house

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend getaway with friends & family to attend a concert & enjoy the beautiful surrounding waterways. The house is huge with plenty of room for everyone. Every little detail is taken care of. The hosts were very friendly & easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property.

Good home base

We needed a home base between large group gatherings. This house allowed all who stayed comfortable beds and baths in a good location between lagoon and beach activities. The pool was a great common area for everyone to enjoy together.

Wonderful relaxation and family time

Wonderful relaxation and family time. We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful house. It was well-maintained, lots of space, beautiful interior/exterior and close to the USSSA Field. The owners are wonderful people and we know if you stay here you will have the most excellent time and be able to relax. It is right there on the inlet. To see the sunrise every morning made you smile to start the day. You would not want to miss this opportunity to stay at this house.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Great house that accommodated the whole family well! So many amenities to enjoy, especially the pool, made for a wonderful family weekend away! Not even the somewhat busy roadway or nearby train could detract from a peaceful, relaxing vacation here! Fantastic place!

Weekend Family Get Away

This property is well worth the visit. The house was very clean and relaxing. Theo owners were nice enough to let us call them after midnight when we were a little disoriented on directions and stayed on the phone until we arrived. If you are looking for relaxation and great pricing, this is definitely a must stay destination!

After days, weeks, and years of hard busywork, we hope you will find enjoyment watching the sunrise over the beautiful Indian River on the front porch. Crossing the highway (be careful and watch for cars), you can open the gate (remember to close it) and fish on our private dock. You can find fishing rods in the garage. Often you may see dolphins come by and possibly a group of manatees under our dock.
In the backyard, there is a pool for you to relax, a grill for grilling your favorite foods, and space for you and your family or friends to sit and chat. Forget about your workload and enjoy the beautiful days and nights of Florida.
Nearby you can find a boat/kayak rental. Visit the islands in the river, talk to the birds in the sky. If lucky you may be able to watch the SpaceX launch (tweet Elon Musk for the schedule).
