Parksville Bay Beach House - sleeps 5

Beautiful new two-story house is 300 meters from a path to the beach (Parksville Bay) and an 8 min drive to Rathtrevor Provincial Park Beach. Makes holiday time easy with an in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, brand new gas bbq and outdoor eating area with table+umbrella, etc. Sleeps 5. Queen bedroom on ground floor and large bedroom on second floor with a bunk bed + a single bed. Set up for five people for eating dining room table has five chairs and outdoor patio table also has five chairs.

House is on a cul-de-sac and is incredibly quiet and safe for kids.

Unit has family board games and beach umbrella, chairs and toys.

Very private with tall cedar hedges and 6ft fences.

Winter rental monthly rates are available between Oct 1 - April 30 - $2,750 per month.

There are no reviews because the house is new and this is the first summer we are renting.

Great Stay!

Fantastic little carriage house. Main bedroom downstairs & separate from the kids room upstairs (has a bunk bed, plus a twin) Each floor has a nice little bathroom. It included everything you needed (toiletries, cookware, ect..) even has a few beach toys for the kids. I wouldn't recommend taking the little path close to the house to the beach if your looking for a sandy beach for the kids. Its kind of steep downhill & that beach is very rocky. But its not a far drive to the main sandy beach. Close drive to all your amenities & a fun mini golf park. Just a short drive to Coombs. This house was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We'd forsure stay there again!

Modern cottage in a lovely neighbourhood

This is a bright, modern cottage in a quiet Parksville neighbourhood. The kitchen has every item you could possibly need! The 1 1/2 baths were convenient for the 5 of us. Having the washer/dryer in unit was useful, too. It's very close to downtown Parksville with all the activities available there, and less than 25 minutes to Nanaimo. Beds were comfortable. The children in our group were all 11+ but younger children (and older adults) might find the beach access via trail or a lot of stairs to be more challenging. The beach has a wide rocky strip before you get to sand so some families might prefer to drive somewhere to get to a more accessible beach.

Clean and well stocked kitchen and home.

The property was really well stocked with Beach Towels, drying rack, washing machine and dryer, herbs and spices, tea and coffee, Tupperware and ice pack for day trips and some beach toys. We used the barbecue as well as the kitchen for cooking with plenty of supermarkets around. The location was really close to the beach (steep access) and a short walk to easier access. We enjoyed trips to Qualicum, Englishman’s River, Rathtrevor, Cathedral Grove and Cowichan (Tubing was amazing). Finally, the property was super clean.

The owner was very communicative and helpful. 4 beds so perfectly fit our family and nice to have laundry on site. Very clean, brand new, and close proximity to everything. We walked down to the beach last night and ran into a couple of young bucks lounging on lawns and eating leafs from trees and then had the pleasure of watching seals swimming. We look forward to coming back! Thanks!

Hi, I am a semi-retired finance professional and I split my time between Vancouver and Parksville. This is the first summer we are renting this house - it was built in 2021.
