The property was tidy and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and the knives were sharp! Pretty excited about that!! The beds were comfortable and everything was warm and inviting! The views are extraordinary from the deck, we spent a lot of time on the deck. Also beach access was great and we really enjoyed seeing all of the birds, plus otters and some beavers. Looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful views and a very quiet location. Hose is lovely, clean, and well stocked. Enjoyed bird watching and star gazing.

We had a wonderful time - beautiful sunsets on lake. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Very conveniently located to Klamath Falls, hiking trails, Crater Lake. Highly recommend for families.

This beach house was immaculate. The kitchen was very well appointed and the beds were super comfy. Watching lightning storms in the mountains from the deck was amazing.

The property was clean, well appointed and a great location for visiting Crater Lake. The fenced in yard was huge and absolutely perfect for the dogs. The kitchen was nice and big, had sharp knives and nice pans. The beds were comfortable and the game room had some great games. The only down side was the midges (flying insects similar to mosquitoes but they don’t bite) that came out after dark in swarms and stayed until the day warmed up mid morning. We couldn’t be outside at all during those hours, rendering the deck/yard unusable for much of the evening & morning. As beautiful as the lake view was, being on the lake in the summer means midges are an inevitability outside of the owners control.

Train Mountain Triennial

We stayed at this great house for the 2025 Triennial at Train Mountain about 5 minutes up the road. The house was super comfortable, convenient, has beautiful views and the host was very easy to communicate with! Thank you very much for a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice lakeside rental!

Nice place with great views

Tidy house with great lake views and access. Fire place worked well and good wood supply. Big fenced yard for dogs to run in. Comfy beds. Would recommend.

Killer View/Comfy Stay

Great spot to relax and unwind after all day exploring Crater Lake. The family had wonderful time here, enjoying the deck and sunset, cooking and eating together, and watching movies. The beds and linens are delightful. The bath towels, thick and absorbent. And a real bonus was all the available boxes of Kleenex! What a treat from a vacation rental. Thanks for the memorable stay.

Birds & books

Property is well located and well furnished for our primary objectives, which were birding and relaxation. The nearby Wood River natural areas provided good birding, and the house is well-furnished, supplied, and maintained (comfortable beds and furniture, modern appliances, good climate control). Wi-fi was readily accessible and reliable. The view from porch and living room is very nice. We did not use the TV or outdoor facilities, but both appear to be of good quality. We are familiar with the area and knew that there were no quality dining establishments nearby, but the kitchen was well equipped for preparing our own food. A couple of minor wishes: One of us somewhat mobility impaired, and would have liked a railing beside the steps to the front door. One brighter light in the living room would make evening reading more pleasant. Overall, a very good experience and good value
