Our home is professionally cleaned and disinfected after each check out in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Public Health & Environment COVID-19 Guidelines. - Guests will have access to the entire property: the cabin and all outdoor spaces including the patio, fire pit, and backyard. - Driveway parking spaces for up to 4 vehicles. OK to park with one trailer, space is limited to one trailer. Detailed photo/video available upon request. - Keyless entry makes it easy to check in and out and means you don't have to worry about losing or sharing keys: key code will be sent out 3 days before arrival. The gravel road to the property with tight and steep turns, bring a trailer for your toys please, violation will result in fees. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended as you might get stuck on gravel road. The speed limit is 12 MPH on Samcove Rd, 30 MPH on S Fork Rd. Hosts/property owners are not responsible for damages to guests' vehicles, if you are with loud vehicles please respect quiet our of 8pm - 930am, excessive damages to the road or violation might result in fines per HOA request. - Guest(s) automatically accept hot tub rules in order to access, please see details in house rules - Utility room is not open to guests. - Always bag your trash to protect wildlife, do not trespass/wander into private property (creeks/trails etc.) in the neighborhood. Our chalet is located in an exclusive quiet neighborhood. The road to the chalet is gravel, with limited turnaround for full-size trucks. The drive is steep, We DO NOT allow motorcycle riding or lowered / loud sports car driving as most neighbors are elderly and we are trying our best to protect the neighborhood, please put your toys on a trailer. No motorcycle (trailer OK), violation will result in fines. This is a remote area and some section has limited cell services. We use wifi calling with no problem. Since we are in the higher elevation remote/rural area, nature is right outside your front door, you might hear and see wildlife and bugs. No worries if you wanna work remotely! Starlink wifi speed is up to 80mbps, which is the fastest option in this rural area. You will be able to do music/video streaming and conference calls. Internet speed/signal might be interrupted by weather and/or other conditions. What’s more, we've also installed a cell signal booster, most cell carrier could get signal for call/texting. We recommend you pre-download maps, movies, and books for your convenience. While we do everything to ensure comfort and convenience, please comply with our house rules: - Speed Limit is 18 MPH on Samcove Rd, 30 MPH on S Fork Rd. - No fireworks, A fire in a fire pit must be attended to and supervised by an adult at all times. No Smoking/Vaping, $600 penalty for unauthorized smoking will be charged. - Check in time: 4 PM, Check out time: 10 AM. No exception to Check-in and Check-out times unless discussed with us in advance. - Registered Guests Only. 8th and 9th beds are twin size rollaway beds - Pet Policy - Quiet Hour: 8 PM-930 AM - Bunk bed weight limit: up to 125lb for upper bunk, 200lb for lower bunk - This chalet is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper - Since we are the only property in the community listed for rent and most neighbors are the elderly, please protect our secluded environment and respect our quiet hours between 8PM-930AM. No outdoor music. Noise level monitor enforced 24/7 to prevent parties and excessive noises. No fireworks. A fire in fire pit must be attended to and supervised by an adult at all times. No drones over neighbor's property. If event is kept going after warning, we will not hesitate to call 911, reservation will be immediately ended and all guests will be evicted at guests’ expenses.
