Wooded Wanderlust Retreat

The property was beautiful and the home owners were great to work with. It’s close to so many attractions, so we will definitely be back to do things we did not have a chance to do this trip.

This Cabin was excellent!! Very clean, spacious, the communication was awesome.

Definitely 5 stars. My family and I enjoyed the cabin!. This will definitely be our mountain retreat!!

Great stay!

Hosts were great! House was perfect! Very clean and lots of space to enjoy each other’s company! Great location; close to Linville Falls! The Italian Restaurant down the road has the best pizza too! We have no complaints! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

The house was gorgeous and stocked with everything you need! Very short drive to Grandfather Mountain, easy check-in/out and super responsive to questions. The community pool, walking trails & multiple decks/porches really topped it off! It's in a neighborhood, but you really wouldn't know it as the lot has lots of trees and feels very private! Our group of 5 had plenty of space, with room for more. Excellent experience overall!

Stackhouse Reunion

We spent very little time at the cabin because we were visiting with family. it was nice to come in to a cozy warm place. after we had been out. We would fix a cup of coffee and relax talking about the events of the day.

Lovely community and home

This is a well cared for community and newly renovated and clean home. I was very impressed with land harbor. We took lots of walks with the kids and enjoyed the beach and hiking trails on site. Very short drive to the Parkway. Maria is very available and a great host. Bring a baby gate if you need it. Also the dining table is too high for kids but the outdoor seating is perfect.

Work Stay

The property is nice and has pleasant furnishings. We were somewhat uncomfortable in that the rooms downstairs were so damp that the bed covers felt damp. Our towels felt damp. Since it was rainy and cold outside, it made for a difficult sleep environment.

We do have radiators available in every room that would have brought down the humidity level. This hasn’t been mentioned by other guests in the past, but thank you for letting us know — we will look into it to ensure its not an issue in the future!

Nice updated home

The house was nicely updated, clean, and accommodating. The covered patio was nice and provided some extra room for everyone. There is not much space between the property and other homes/lots. Privacy wasn't an issue with as the trees and shrubs blocked most of the neighboring homes. The road to the house is a single lane and narrow. There are a lot of houses on the street so just be aware this is not a secluded retreat. Maria was good at communicating throughout our stay. They have made the home a very nice place to stay. Everything seemed new and modern. Pretty much everything you need was in the home. 1 bedroom upstairs with a bathroom and the common areas. 3 bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom and laundry room.

Great cabin and location

We had a great time and the cabin was very comfortable for our family. Very clean and stocked with all of the necessities. A beautiful cabin and great location.
