The Historical Furnished house (built in 1857) , in downtown area. Casa Almar is located 25 min. from Miramar Beach, 3 min. from downtown plaza, and 5 min from the Laguna Del Carpintero/Pontoon Cruises. Kayak & Fishing (10 minutes away), Altama Mall (10 min away). The street is well lit and safe. There are no bars on this street.

This house was my parents home and now we are welcoming guests to enjoy the elegant furnishings my mother so carefully acquired over the years and the decor she so much enjoyed. Each bedroom is unique. Many of the furnishings are custom made.
One of the suites has the furniture that belonged to my father's aunt... we are talking 100 year old furniture! We have been careful to maintain the furniture and we are delighted to bring in the modern (wifi, Smart TV, hot water and A/C) while preserving the old.
The ideal number of guests is 10, to comfortably sleep in nice comfortable beds. However, we are allowing 15 to be flexible. And we also provide inflatable mattresses (one in each suite) and two pack & plays for little ones, shall you need them during your stay.
We have a private parking lot. The entrance and exit to the parking is in the "Calle Canseco" side of the property. In other words... around the corner. The key to go in & out of the parking you will be able to find inside your suite.

If you want to practice your Spanish…we recommend taking advantage of the “Corazon Huasteco” tour. You’ll get to go inside the Aduana, it’s museum abs the Palacio Municipal followed by a boat trip on the Panuco River and Enchiladas to indulge in the local cuisine. Kayak trips are also available. You may get all the details upon your arrival and we will be happy to help you make the best of your stay in Tampico.
