White Heron Nest is a 2-bedroom remodeled and beautiful apartment with water views in downtown Cedar Key, less than a 10-minute walk to Dock Street!

Great for 1 or 2 couples or families with kids.

This 2nd floor unit offers 2 bedrooms with queen beds, Wifi, smart TVs in both living room and master, kitchen w/ full stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, dining table, and washer/dryer. There's also a sizable dining table with plenty of space for 4. Perhaps the most sought-after amenity is the parking, which is right out front with a private overflow lot located a very short walk from the building. Just ask about boat trailer parking!

**For larger groups (up to 8), book along with Blue Heron, which is a mirror of this one and located right next door!**

The kitchen appeared to be fully equipped. I did not have time to cook for myself. Owner left brochures for eateries and I selected one of their recommendations. The downtown area is within walking distance of this property and has lots of hops and restaurants.

Great place to stay

The location, check-in and property were everything we were looking for. Easy walking distance to town and restaurants, quiet location and cleanliness were important to us and did not disappoint. We will be back!

The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed. Carrying things in to the 2nd floor was a little challenging for four 60 women, but after that, we enjoyed the view from there. We could walk to town easily. We rented a golf cart and really enjoyed all the ambiance of lovely Cedar Key!

Our stay was more business than pleasure. The accommodation was more than adequate. Everything kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and bedding was well stocked and very comfortable. Our stay went well couldn’t ask for anything better. Very nice would recommend if staying at Cedar Key.

Cool area, cool place

It was awesome! Only stayed 1 night, so we didn't utilize much of what was offered (tv, range, coffe maker), but the unit was very clean, and very comfortable. I hope to stay here again.

Great place

We had an unexpected visit to Cedar Key when my husbands uncle died and we were scrambling trying to find somewhere to stay. They were very accommodating and very helpful for any questions we had. Very quick to respond, which was very nice! Definitely recommend them if you’re needing somewhere to stay in Cedar Key!

The place is quiet, clean and kitchen has all necessary tools to cook. Only, negatives are the smoke/fire alarm is overly sensitive and it's a long haul to bring in luggage and other supplies.

Cedar Key

Great property to stay at for a short trip. Stayed 4 nights and the place was very convenient to everything in town. Bring your own face towel if you wear makeup. The stairs are a bit of a workout hauling things back and forth but doable.

Lauren and Aric developed a passion for sharing the nature coast of their home state of Florida in 2020, when they started their hosting journey in Tarpon Springs. They're excited to have expanded into Cedar Key, where Lauren spent time as a child while visiting her grandmother, who has lived in nearby Chiefland, FL, her whole life.

Lauren and Aric LOVE sharing their properties with others, and providing a comfortable and stress-free stay. They also enjoy spending time in their properties themselves. In Cedar Key, they get to see Lauren's grandmother (who turned 90 in 2022) and her uncle, who live in Chiefland.
