This condo has the best view. We saw whales every morning. Turtles every afternoon. Shangri La. We will be back. 46 year celebration of love in a beautiful place

Good location, unit was nice with partial view, slightly obscured, and not directly on oceanfront

Overall it was a nice interior unit. Some things slightly dated, but bathroom looked recently remodeled and was very spacious. All the doors were “sliding,” so it didn’t really protect from sound. The unit was well equipped with the basic kitchen supplies but lacked some needed cooking ingredients like spices. Additional it should be noted that there is no oven - we didn’t notice this called out in the listening, it’s likely written there, but it threw a wrench in our ability to cook meals at the unit. The view from the balcony was good, but it wasn’t quite what we expected. The unit isn’t directly on the oceanfront, there are other units and other things on the property between this unit and the ocean. While there is an ocean view it’s thus only partial, and obscured by trees and other things. spices.

Fantastic location with amazing views

Waking up to an ocean view and listening to the peaceful sound of the surf just outside the balcony door, then watching the sunset as you kick back and relax after a long day of unwinding, what else is there to ask for? The location can't be beat, with all the amenities and supplies needed for our family of four to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Thank you to Ed and the Kuleana staff for making it such an amazing and memorable stay.

Stunning Views

Our family of four just returned from an amazing week in Maui. The kids had never been to Hawaii and we hadn't been since our honeymoon on the big island, 21 years ago. This condo was exactly as advertised, especially the incredible views across the property to the ocean beyond. Peaceful, relaxing, close to everything you need- great spot. Our communication with Ed was fantastic. He responded quickly and offered so much great insider info on the island for us. I truly felt like we were honored guests in his home. A/C in the bedroom worked great when we needed it at night, but the breeze kept us cool enough during the day. The kitchen was pristine and had everything we needed. The little beach was perfect for relaxation and turtle watching. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and not overly crowded at all. WiFi sometimes got spotty but found if I just reset the switch it rebooted and worked fine.

Great stay

Absolutely loved this property, everything that you need in the kitchen, the unit was spotless the grounds are meticulously maintained the bbq’s are cleaned every morning and was a great place to socialize in the evenings when grilling up dinner. Got to whales every day we were on the Lania. Would definitely recommend this listing

More amazing memories!

We had a wonderful stay, and love the way the plants on the grounds are maintained to enhance the feeling of peacefulness. I love the location of the grills so that you can enjoy the sunset, while you cook dinner and meet new people from different parts of the country/world. A morning cup of coffee on the lanai looking out over the ocean is a favorite way to start our morning. We're very interested in booking again.

Maui Magic

My husband and I look forward to our stay at kuleana #507 every year. The view is the best in the complex, and we always feel like we are home when we walk in the door. It is close to shopping, beaches, and walking trails, and many wonderful restaurants. The condo has everything we need and is clean and comfortable. It is our slice of paradise.

Just right

Thoughtfully curated the ice trys were full when I got in. The place had all kinds of appliances and kitchen items to make the maui's farmer markets even more delicious! The lights were primarily on dimmers so the evenings could have lovely ambiance, especially with the backdrop of the stars from the balcony and the sound of the waves. Things like beach towels, in addition to bathroom towels, extra garbage bags, ziploc bags (so helpful for the flight home) and an extension cord all made the stay that much more simple. There were also plenty of things in drawers and cabinents I didn't get the chance to use, like the juicer, that would be a perk to many. Turtles even like to hang out just past the bbq area so you don't even have to travel to enjoy their beauty. The host was also prompt in responses and left clear directions and instructions which made things easy.

Relaxing in Maui

The views from the Lanai are stupendous. This is our third time staying at the Kuleana and we love it. The grounds are beautiful, the pool quiet and relaxing, and the ocean is right there. It could not be better.

Relaxing

Kuleana is beautifully landscaped, quiet and relaxing. The unit was equipped with all you need to cook and was very comfortable. Thankfully the bedroom has A/C for a comfortable sleep.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!

This place is truly amazing. The location is perfect, right between Kaanapali and Napili Bay. The views are breathtaking. Incredible sunsets, even more incredible grounds! We watched the whales off in the distance every day. The small beach areas at either end of the property always have sea turtles swimming around and offer great snorkeling. The pool is huge, great tennis court, shuffle board and even ping pong in the lower lobby! The fold out sofa was perfect for our 12 year old son. I've recommended this place to all of our friends!

Traumurlaub auf Maui

Es ist ein sehr schönes Apartment mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und einem schönen Garten. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Bad hatte eine große Dusche. Es gab einen kostenlosen Parkplatz und einen Raum indem man für kleines Geld Wäsche waschen konnte. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und einen tollen Urlaub auf Maui verbracht 👍👍👍👍👍

Ron & Delia's 35th wedding Anniversary trip 😍

Beautiful - peaceful property - perfect for our 35th wedding Anniversary get-away. Turtles & Whales everywhere. Small beaches - perfect for couples. Pool for afternoon relaxing. Awesome sunsets on the beachfront or our 2nd floor lanai. BBQ area perfect for meal prep & visits. So glad owner put a front room fold out bed - sleep to the sound of waves. Easy walk to stores & food venues + food truck park. Paradise at its finest 🌴🐢 we hope to return 😊

Book this place!!

Our family of 7 stayed at this property and absolutely loved our time. Purple Surf fit us perfectly and we had room for more. The house was perfectly clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the baby essentials were so helpful (high chair and pack n' play), our kids loved the arcade game upstairs, and the area under the house was so fun. We loved that the beach was a short walk away and we were stocked with a wagon to bring all of the toys and chairs. We were so thankful beach boogie boards were available along with sand toys and beach chairs... we really had everything we needed! As a mom with kids ranging from 1-9, it was refreshing to come and enjoy our time as a family. Wether you are a mom or a big group, this house is set up for both!!!

Was that a whale?

Every morning my husband and I drank coffee on the lanai and watched the whales. The condo was a short drive to all the restaurants and beaches. I'm sure you could walk there too. The condo had everything we needed and it was great having a full size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the short was good too. We would stay here again and I am recommending it to everybody

Whales and turtles

This condo was wonderful!! The view is amazing and you can sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Take a walk along the grounds is delightful and very well maintained. If you like turtles this is the place. They love to swim up and eat in the rocks and tide pool area. I went out to watch them everyday. We would definitely stay here again. The photos are very accurate. Thank you for a wonderful trip

Maui Bliss

We had another wonderful 3 weeks staying at our favorite condo. Walking in the door and seeing the ocean at your footsteps never gets old. Best view on the property, not to mention the beautiful grounds, and privacy. The condo is equipped with all you need for cooking your own meals and enjoying them on the deck. Plenty of towels , and linens. The on-site team is always helpful if a problem should arise. This place is a little piece of heaven. Mahalo! The Hein’s

Perfect apartment for ocean views and island living!

We loved the ocean view from the patio! Perfect location on the island, too. Great resort for a private, independent stay away from the crowds at hotels. Basic amenities allowed us to cook several meals at home and enjoy the surroundings. The only problem we had was not having the right code for the door at checkin, but the property manager helped us quickly. Highly recommend staying here!

Having immediately fallen in love with Maui, we bought this property on our first trip to the Islands in 1975. I'm originally from Texas, big, dry and dusty...Maui was a revelation of what paradise might look like. In the back of my mind however crazy things get back in California now, I can smile knowing I have a beautiful place to escape to!

As a devoted swimmer, one of the first things I noticed was the beautiful and well-maintained pool. With low rise buildings all close to the ocean, there is a village feel which appeals to me much more than staying in a high rise hotel. I really feel "at home" when there; and the cordial staff of long standing always provide a warm welcome to our guests.

Since we're good cooks, one of the best dining places on the island is the lanai overlooking the Pacific. When the moon shimmers over the water, we feel like the stars of our own movie. During the winter months, whales are our offshore companions and we can spend hours watching them frolic
