9th Street West Retreat is one unit of a recently remodeled duplex, that is inviting you to come enjoy the slower paced life in Port Orford. Spend your days inside relaxing, or adventure outside to the nearby rivers, beaches and lake.

Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen. Spanning granite counter tops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and a glass top cook stove. You only need to bring your groceries!

Electric kettle, stove top kettle, electric coffee pot and pour over coffee maker are all provided.

Rest and relax in the cozy living room that offers a large mounted flat screen TV and electric fireplace.

Enjoy hot showers in our full size shower/ bathtub combo. And fall asleep in the spacious bedroom on a king mattress and new linens.

Also offered is a small laundry room with stackable washer and dryer for your use.


LOCATION:
Located within walking distance to Garrison Lake and some our favorite beaches: Battle Rock State Park, Tseriadun State Park, and the Port of Port Orford. Enjoy hours of beachcombing, boating, fishing, whale watching or bird watching.

Around the corner, in every direction, are popular local food establishments: Crazy Norwegians, Cafe Gemma, Redfish Golden Harvest and Portside Cafe and Portside Deli and Market; just to name a few.

Venture North and you can tour the Cape Blanco Light House or the Historical Hughes House. If adventure if what you seek, enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Elk or Sixes Rivers either swimming or fishing....depending on the season.

The stay was pleasant, the weather was nice, and the weekend was great. The apartment was clean and well laid out. The bed was comfortable. The couch was nice. The kitchen had everything you could need, except a pair scissors. But we made due. Port Orford is not very big, but the location was good. Only a short walk to everything in town.Thank for place to stay, and the snacks!We would stay again next time.

This was the cleanest, coziest place I have stayed at. The kitchen had everything I needed, the living room was cozy and plenty of space in bedroom and bathroom. The decorations were nice and not over done. The owner thought I of everything a guest could need. Will stay here again for sure!

I found everything but a piece of paper to let you know that we washed the dishes and started a load of towels before we left. We didn't use the tub. The front door "sticks" a bit, but the security entry pad works fine. Nice decor and thoughtful items in room.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, snacks - and that was all on top of a cut place which is furnished well, with a comfortable bed and simple check-in and check-out processes. And Port Orford is a great little community with good beaches, outdoor opportunities and restuarants!

This place has everything I could have needed, and more. Decor was charming, little details like the snacks, books, binoculars, battery candles, etc. made me feel pampered & special. Bed was comfy. The place was spotless. Christy was personable and responsive to inquiries (mostly on how to use the modern appliances. Everything is much newer than what I’m used to.) This was my first VRBO ever and they’ve set the bar very high.
