This comfortable 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, available by the month, is located in a walk to town location on famous Wonderland Trail, steps from highly rated Bistro Roca restaurant, and near all the shopping, events and restaurants that downtown Blowing Rock has to offer!    The home exudes old-style comfort from the charming picket fence entry garden with porch swing to the lovely screened in porch in the back of the home, overlooking a host of Rhododendrons and native plants.  Although not for the minimalist, if you love a vacation rental that feels like home, Rhodie Retreat  is sure to be equally charming, winter and summer.  Bring the entire family for an extended holiday ski vacation, or spend your summer enjoying a cool breeze on the screened in porch and hiking the mountain trails.  

On the main level you will find a King Master Suite, with antique furnishings, a gilded full-length mirror, dresser, and closet.  The bedroom opens into a bath with a recently updated glass enclosed walk in shower in peaceful white and gray tones. The bath opens to both the Master Bedroom and the hallway.

The second main level bedroom has a bath, two twin beds and a sitting area, dresser, and walk in closet. There is also a second closet/desk workspace for work or homework! The bath (also updated) includes a tub/shower combination and clean, restful color scheme.

The living room is large, has a fireplace, and backs up to the screened in porch and an adjacent un-covered deck with patio furniture so that you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, rain or shine. Next to the living area is a full, separate dining room and a large kitchen with updated appliances that include a drip coffee maker, microwave, double oven, glass cooktop, dishwasher, large sink, and all the china and crystal you will need for serving a feast to the family. Off of the kitchen is a separate family room with television and fireplace.

Downstairs you will find two Queen bedrooms. One Queen bedroom has a 4 poster canopy bed, television, closet and dresser.  The other has a Queen bed and a convertible loveseat.  There is also a downstairs family room/game room with a large screen television, wood stove, and a Weber grill on the adjacent covered deck.

Downstairs there is a laundry area with full size washer and dryer for your use during your stay. 

The location of the property, with easy access to Memorial Park, outdoor swimming pool, and downtown, without having to move your car or park, is sure to make your trip memorable and relaxing.
