***Great Holiday Spot - Road Access - No Storm Damage.  The Town of Blowing Rock is Open and Thriving!***

Cute, retro 2 BR, 1 BA, pet friendly cottage with a yard and hot tub, within easy walking distance to Main Street in downtown Blowing Rock!  Morris Cottage is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy local restaurants, events and shopping with a minimum of fuss.  The cabin has Spectrum cable TV, Internet, and WiFi, and plenty of parking!    Enjoy dinner outside on the front deck or relax in the hot tub after hiking on the many nearby trails or skiing at nearby Appalachian Ski Mountain.  The cottage isn't upscale, but it is a solid place to stay, close to all the action in downtown Blowing Rock, at a reasonable rate.

The cozy living room has a Queen sleeper sofa, rocker recliner and television with sound bar. The adjacent kitchen includes a full size refrigerator and icemaker, Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, electric range and oven, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware and cookware. The dining table in the kitchen provides a place for a snack or a sit down meal for four.

The two Queen bedrooms each have a television and share a hallway bath with tub/shower combination and plenty of fluffy towels.  There central heat to keep you warm and cozy, througout the house, even in the winter, and the owners installed central AC this year, to keep you cool in the summer.

A full size laundry room makes it easy to keep up with the laundry in a minimum of time.

Bring your four legged pal...requires approval. You will love staying at Morris Street Cottage!

Pet Rules: 
Pets allowed with approval - a maximum of 2 dogs under 40 lbs.
Your dog(s) must be fully housetrained and current on vaccinations and Flea & Tick preventative; cannot be left loose or unattended at any time; must be crated if you leave them home alone, crate(s) not supplied; pets are not allowed on the furniture and you must clean up any hair in the home upon your departure; Please make sure to clean up the yard after your dogs; if there is a hot tub, dogs are not allowed in it. There is a non refundable and taxable pet fee per dog.

We had such a great visit to Blowing Rock, the house was in a perfect location, it was super cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. Being able to walk to town to shop or eat dinner was so easy, it felt like a luxury not to move the car from the driveway. The hot tub was great, house had a nice backyard, nothing to complain about here!

This is a great,comfortable place to stay. Love that it is walkable to Main Street. We enjoy the firepit and the hot tub. Looking forward to next year. For a week we feel like we “live” in Blowing Rock.

The cottage was well stocked with all the necessities we needed for our long weekend. The outdoor firepit and hot tub were awesome! The beds were also very comfortable.

Location, Location, Location

We absolutely love Blowing Rock! Morris St Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy your stay. Easy walking distance to everything in town. Plus the added bonus of being pet friendly. Small but just what we were looking for. Nicely decorated with comfy beds after long days hiking. We looking forward to staying here again for our next visit.

Cozy home in a great location

Our family of 3 had another great stay at this cozy home just a short walk from Main Street. We spent 4 nights in Blowing Rock and really enjoyed the location right off of Main. The home had everything we needed to feel comfortable, cook meals, and entertain ourselves in the evening. If there was one thing I would change it would be the memory foam mattress pads that you tend to sink into after little while a long with a creaky bed frame. The bathroom has been remodeled recently and is nicer than it was our previous stay. The central A/C worked great though we hardly used it in the cool spring weather. All in all a great spot and we plan to book again.

Cozy and convenient

So close to everything you need! The house was cozy and well stocked. We came to ski and really enjoyed Appalachian Ski which is only 10 minutes away! Would stay again.

Great mother-daughters weekend!

The cottage is way cuter than it looks in the pictures. It is cozy and comfortable and offers everything you need. The location couldn't be better. My daughters and I would love to return to the same cottage again. We arrived on Friday and didn't need our cars until we left on Sunday. Everything is in walking distance.

Great little house in heart of Blowing Rock

Was perfect for the two of us including a nice 2 person hot tub on porch. Glad to stay in a place where the kitchen had all I needed and laundry addition was helpful. Fun little house that is just a block from downtown and set perfect for morning walks etc
