"A-Deck With a View" is a unique cabin/cottage style A-Frame home found on Smith Lake near Trident Marina and the Big Bridge. Impressive views of the lake from a large multi-level deck can't be beat.

The main A-Frame home features 1.5 Baths, with two Main Floor Bedrooms, a Loft Bedroom, a Basement Game Room, Laundry Room, plus plenty of parking. There is also a detached Master Suite complete with bedroom, bathroom, and private deck with views of the lake.

The expansive deck areas include a screened-in main level porch off the family room with amazing views of the lake. Other deck areas include a covered deck, two large, split level entertaining decks, and a natural rock deck with fire pit.

This property also has a covered, single-slip dock and large swim platform that keeps your boat/PWC safe and out of the elements with plenty of space for water activities from floating to boating and fishing.

A-Deck With a View is only 20 minutes from I-65 and just minutes by boat or car from Trident Marina and the Country Mall Convenience Store. With plenty of parking on this property, it’s perfect for a quick getaway or long vacation.

Overall we had a great time. 2 Grandparents, 2 parents and 2 boys all fit comfortably in the main house. Did use the detached room for showers when the main bathroom was being used. Only used the game room to wash clothes. Game room has a separate outdoor entrance. The house could use some freshening up. Lots of stairs to the dock which wasn't an issue for us. Loved sitting outside on the screened in porch and the fire-pit area overlooking the lake was great. Caught some nice catfish. The location is really great with a nice view of the lake. Kids enjoyed a rope swing nearby.

Great place to stay for a big family. The instructions were clear and very detailed. Definitely would want to stay here again! We made a lot of great memories that will last us a lifetime!

great place but our weather wasn't the best. We liked the location.

We had 9 adults,we played games when the weather wasn't good got to ride jet skis my son really like the area. would be great if there was 1 more bath in the main house but the basement and the cottage were great. Nice dock.

Family Getaway

We went for a weekend stay with family, and had a great time despite some of the rainy weather. The place was nice, and accomodated everyone. The inside was clean, but we had to clean all of the furniture on the back porch, due to pollen being on everything (it appeared that we were possibly the first guests of the season, but we LOVED the back porch & swing), and someone left trash & fishing reel parts on the boathouse. A few things we didn’t know about or take into consideration were how many stairs there were to the boathouse, the fact that there isn’t a dishwasher, that the only way downstairs to the game room was by going outside with all of the stairs, and also that Smith Lake Park is the closest boat ramp (we had two fishing boats with us). Otherwise we liked the place, and enjoyed our family getaway. Thank you for sharing your place with us).

FAMILY CHRISTMAS

We couldn't of had a GREATER place to stay for all of us. The house was amazing with everything you need with comfy beds and pillows. We used all bedrooms even the little cottage which was cozy and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for five nights. We even used the the grill.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cabin! We used the fire pit and it was so nice outside. Just a lovely thanksgiving place.
