One positive for my family was the house is less than a mile from my parents who we were intown to see. House had a smoke odor which made it hard to sleep for us non smokers. Master toilet not properly cleaned. Towel and toilet paper holders broken off. Other obvious maintenance issues. In kitchen there were 3 mugs, 2 wineglasses no other things to drink with (no normal glasses), 2 forks, 5 spoons. Plenty of knifes and plates. Could not cook there because not enough items to eat with. Host told me I could go to the dollar general and buy things, that I should have to but that way I would have stuff to eat with. Did not offer to pay for them. No coffee or anything like bottled water left by the host to welcome a renter. Very dissatisfied. Also note, this is NOT a 4 bedroom. It is a three bedroom where they have curtained off a sitting area in the master and are calling it a 4th bedroom.

Owner cancelled stay when I was AT the house.

Did not stay as planned drove 4 hours to destination to be told by owner error was made double booked so my family had no where to stay!! He confirmed and communicated about reservation day before my arrival. Bad business makes VBRO look BAD!!!

Quiet Neighborhood

The overall experience was not bad, however it's quiet clear the owners don’t show much interest in the up keep of this property due to the way nothing was in good condition. Knobs missing, doors can't close without help, broken or wobbly furniture and lots of bugs in places they should not be. We were there for a family reunion a few minutes away, so it served it's purpose especially since we spent majority of our day away from the property.

Traveling with senior citizens

The plave was clean only one bathroom had toilet paper holders we had to sit toilet paper on floor or back of toilet. The toilets plugged up. Upstairs inconveniences with 5 80 something year old people. Only 1 room had 2 beds its really a 3 bedroom house. To many small important things to recommend to renting.
