Salty Seahorse Cottage at The Grayton Preserve!!!
Relax on the deck as your worries drift away! This home definitely brings the comfort and the sea-themed atmosphere, with plenty of space on the front and back porches for you to relax. The convenient location means you'll be able to journey down 30A and visit all the different beaches, each with its own atmosphere. Close to Seaside, Watercolor, Sea Grove, Blue Mountain Beach and Gulf Place. Have fun visiting the community's private beach (just a 5-10minute walk) as well as Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seagrove, and much more within an easy golf cart or bike ride! Central air conditioning means you can escape the Florida heat easily. There's plenty of room in the family-friendly space to relax comfortably, even if little ones want to play. Ceiling fans are distributed throughout the home (including on the front deck) to promote comfort and air circulation. The deluxe full kitchen includes two separate breakfast bars (one at the kitchen's prep island!), plentiful counter space, and an extra-large, French-door refrigerator. Amenities like a private washer/dryer will help your trip go smoothly. In addition to everything at this home, you'll enjoy access to two shared pools, a tennis and pickle ball court and a community-wide private beach.
Free high-speed WiFi and cable. Full kitchen with a dishwasher. The living room sofabed provides an extra sleeping space. The fireplace is not for guest use.
Parking notes: There is adequate parking for up to three vehicles. There are two spaces in the single-stack driveway and one additional street parking space in front of the home. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.

All garbage must be placed in strapped down garbage can due to bears in area. Not doing so will result in HOA fines of $100 per day.

Clean, quiet, new home

Our family booked a last minute trip to Grayton Beach. This was a perfect location, in a newer stand alone home. Great communication with the owner. The only issue we had was that the property said it was a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. However, when we got to the beach, we had to continue walking past 2 other private beach areas to squeeze in to a tiny spot near a river inlet or continue past the waterway which is difficult to do with a full cart. This would have been nice to know beforehand.

Great location and house

The house was great. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. It was also easy to bike from the property to other nearby areas like Watercolor and Seaside. The house was well-appointed and clean. Our property manager, Christel, was great. She was very responsive and helpful. The only issue was that most of the codes we were given for the pools and public areas were wrong. We simply asked other guests to help us out.

Wonderful Sweet Sixteen Trip

We had a wonderful vacation! The home was beautiful with plenty of space. Proximity to the beach was great. We enjoyed the walk to and from. Proximity to entertainment for teenagers was perfect. They rode bikes everywhere! We would definitely book this vacation home again.

Comfortable, quiet, close to beach

The house is spacious and very comfortable, two delightful porches, one of them screened. It’s a 7-10 min walk to beach but half of it is along a beautiful private boardwalk through trees and muscadine vines. A few more instructions would have been nice but the owner is very responsive

Family vacay

We loved this cute little house and the rental agency was fantastic. I do have a major complaint- the roof was tin and we had 3-4 nights of wind and rain and there were trees touching the roof and it made a tremendous amount of noise which kept our entire house awake most of the night. Those trees should be trimmed because the noise was so loud we couldn’t drown it out with fans or noise machines. The other thing I wish I had known was the distance from beach. I was told 7 minute walk but it’s across the street down a very long path then once you hit beach- you have to then walk down the beach a good distance because the beach is reserved for Sanctuary at the Sea. So we had to walk past the flag poles to set up for the beach day. We finally just gave up and came home it was just way to much work just to get to the beach. Again we loved the actual house- plenty of room all of the amenities needed but location and the roof kind of ruined our trip.

I look to provide an amazing vacation experience for my guests. I used two management companies over the last year for this property, however, I believe it resulted in the guest paying extremely high fees with no additional benefit. I invite to enjoy my vacation home and have an incredible vacation experience.

This is a very spacious house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great for large families so everyone can spread out and relax. Gourmet style kitchen, large front and back porches. Two large community pools, tennis courts, and small gym.
