Cozy Cottage on the Lake

This beautiful 3 bedroom 2.5 bath lake house is located on Lake Lanier with a boat dock and breathtaking lake views. Just 30 steps from the lake!

It is perfectly located in a cove with a two story dock. Convenient access by boat or car to restaurants, marinas, jet-ski rentals, Lake Lanier Island Waterpark, hiking areas and much more.

Our property features lake views from just about every room in the house. It also features two decks with seating as well as a side deck with a large hot tub. Enjoy watching the boats go by from the deck or from the amazing Double Decker dock (one slip, two stories with deck on top. The dock does have additional side wet slips for your personal watercrafts! This rooftop dock is wonderful for sunbathing, relaxing or just watching the amazing views and sunsets. There is a one kayak for your enjoyment. Plenty of seating on the top deck as well as a sunshade to escape the rays!

The top level has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths as well as a laundry room. There are two queen beds and a bunk bed for the kiddos! The bottom level features a beautiful open concept area that includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom. The kitchen has a huge island with seating for six. The center of the house features large windows for the views of the lake and surrounding area. You can walk straight out on to the deck with a hot tub! There is parallel parking for two cars only. This property is not handicapped accessible. Please note there are many steps and it may not be suitable for elderly guests. There are a good bit of stairs as the house is situated on a hill.

Have fun swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, jetskiing, waterskiing, and exploring the lake. If you are looking for enjoyment and relaxation on the lake, this is the place to be!

Lake Lanier is located in North Georgia, just 40 miles from the state capitol of Atlanta. The 692 miles of shoreline borders the following five counties: Hall; Forsyth; Dawson; Gwinnett and Lumpkin. Lake Lanier is well known for the wonderful fishing.

Excellent stay. We had no issues and everything was as described. Location was very desirable. House was clean and the host extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs. She was very easy to reach if we had questions. Would stay here again.

The house, infected with roaches. Very unclean and had very unsafe stairs. Park and arrangement was terrible and unsafe. None of this was enclosed in the disclosed when booking. The dock we very old and multiple nails sticking out, causing hazards unless you were wearing shoes. The deck outside the master bedroom is very dangerous and unsafe and should be sign on it saying “do not walk on”, It is rotten.

This review is false. This person is trying to get their money back. There is no roach infestation. All bug issues have been addressed prior to this stay. The decks are not rotten which was confirmed by a recent inspection. We asked for photos of said complaints and he denied to share them. Finally, the parking is clearly disclosed in the pictures of the listing AND in the listing description. This person is making false claims in hopes of a refund.

The Interior is reasonably nice, however, there is an insect problem in the kitchen, the air-conditioning worked well if you’re there in the summer, that was a high point, the exterior is in rough shape, but there is a beautiful view of the lake.If you will have more than two vehicles in your party, it is quite a nuisance for parking. Overall, the property has seen better days.

Everything is pretty worn. One wine glass and some of the glasses were very cloudy. Obviously leftover glasses, dishes, and cookware were brought in. The bath towels were worn and not enough in the upstairs bathroom. Extra blankets in the master bedroom closet were smelly - obviously not washed. One towel in the master bathroom had a big stain in the middle. I threw it in with some of my laundry and it came out. The parking was scary. One narrow area with no rail and a sheer drop for two cars on a very steep hill. Lots and lots of stairs! Overall it was comfortable enough and it was delightful being on the lake.

Very comfortable place. Lots of room. Renter a pontoon boat and they delivered it to the dock. Lots of stairs. Baths and kitchen seem to be remolded.

We had a wonderful stay here. The kids fished non stop off the dock and caught plenty of fish. We rented a boat from aqua sports adventures and really enjoyed the lake. The home had everything we needed and we truly relaxed and made memories. Thank you!

Exactly what I want in a lake house getaway. Appropriately priced, can fit an entire family. Wouldn’t say it’s great for kids under 10 or the elderly though, very steep property from house to lake. Incredible for young adults 10/10. Do recommend

House was fine, lots of room, perfect for three guests and could’ve accommodated more, pretty comfortable, propane hookup to grill was cool. Wish we had used the hot tub, looked cool. Bug issue in kitchen, outside needs maintenance, decks and dock in a bit of disrepair. Pretty well stocked, but tiny things like no whisk or grill tongs were annoying but we made due. But overall the place is priced well and was good for a guys fishing trip.

Great view, hot tub was the perfect spot for the cool evenings. Knew it was not handicap accessible but the steps coming down to property were a challenge since there were no lighting on the steps or porch light left on. Overall would have benefited from a good cleaning but thinking the house hadn’t been rented in awhile.

Very nice view of the lake and quietness. Wish there were less spider webs on the windows and leaves on the stairs to the property. Overall it was a nice place.

Our family had an amazing time at this vrbo! It was perfect for our family of 6! Its a quiet and cozy place, and the kids loved having their own dock access for fishing and swimming. Hot tub works well, and we even did some deer watching while out there. We would love to return and stay stay again.

Our stay on the lake was just perfect! We have a 12 year old and a 14 year and we all had the best time! The house was so spacious, a beautiful view of the lake, and perfect location. We went to Snow Island @ Margaritaville (about 15 minutes away) , spent an evening in downtown Dahlonega (about an hour away), and went on a self-directed tour of film locations of Stranger Things (about an hour away). The hot tub was a perfect way to begin our day and end of evening. We would 1 million percent stay here again. Thank you again!

Nice location

The location of this property is ideal on the lake. Boat traffic was minimal and the sunrise view was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at this house! The house is clean and rooms were comfortable! Only complaint is parking and a ton of stairs! But plan accordingly and your trip is well worth it! On a fabulous part of the lake!
