Castaway Cove Lake Norman NC - Beautiful Lake Front Vacation Home!

Castaway Cove Lake Norman NC is a Fun, Quiet & Family Friendly Lake Front Vacation Home. This waterfront ranch style home with private dock is a 3600 square foot home that comfortably sleeps 16 guests. Five bedrooms and three full bathrooms offer plenty of space for family and friends. The well equipped kitchen, breakfast area, dining room and great room (with Smart TV) are on the main level situated in an open floor plan so everyone can be part of all the activities. A finished game room in the basement with Roku enabled television provides plenty of entertainment with a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, two arcade machines that include Mrs. PacMan, Golden Tee and other games.

The outside is just as inviting with seating on the large brand new deck just off of the kitchen or enjoy the view on the covered patio below. Water depth around the new private 20ft dock is 6+ feet with plenty of room for your boat and/or wave runner. It is also the perfect setting for fishing and swimming. There is a ladder on the dock for easy access in and out of the water. Take advantage of the convenient location with gas dock directly across from the house dock at Lake Norman Marina. Soak in the lake life with outdoor grilling on the patio, competitive games of cornhole and nights by the fire pit with cooking grate.

A full size washer and dryer, ironing board/iron and all linens are provided. Please note this is not a daily linen service. Also included is a starter kit with trash bags, paper products, dish/hand soap, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, dryer sheets and wrapped bar soap.

Our extended family had a wonderful lake vacation and he highly recommend! Owners were very helpful with communication and recommendations for food and rentals. The house was appointed very well we had everything we needed! We loved having refrigerator in the basement and an extra one in the kitchen. The primary bedroom had a perfect lake view and bed was comfortable. The A/C was sufficient in the hot August temperatures. We fished off the dock and caught a huge catfish - was definitely a highlight for our 9 year old niece. Our family also paddle boarded and water was calm enough for a 7 & 9 year old. We would come back to the lake house again!!!

Castaway Cove was an excellent rental for our family. We loved the fire pit and patio area. The game area was great for the kids (and the not-exactly-kids-anymore among us). The house was clean and comfortable.I can't comment much about the lake or lake access. We did swim, but the lake was so low due to the drought that we decided not to rent a boat.We had a large group and rented the house next door as well. It was great being able to have a separate space while still vacationing together.I would rent this home again.

Great location. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, etc. The common areas were large with lots of seating/table space. The fire pit area was amazing. Everything was clean. No issues using the TV, wifi, etc. We loved this place!

Championship weekend

We came for the PGA championship that was recently at Quail Hollow. We loved the house and all of the amenities . We are talking about bringing our families back for a future trip!

Great stay for our family vacation. We had multiple adults and kids and the house had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake (with our own dock) & the amenities provided. Great communication with Don.

Hidden Gem On The Lake

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed with six families and there was enough room for us all! The house was very clean and everything was well organized, and labeled for our convenience. Stores and restaurants are within 15 minutes, and some further but on the lake as well. We would highly recommend this house to those travelling to the area with large groups, and like a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake view. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Rich family end of summer fun

We always have a fun lake weekend for our kids and granddaughters before school starts. We enjoyed the privacy and the dock so much! We brought our pontoon and the convenience was a plus! The games in the downstairs were a plus too! Lovely home and we enjoyed it so much!

My wife and I always loved Lake Norman, as we plan on retiring there one day. When this home came available we felt it was perfect for us and a great place for others to enjoy as well. We really hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Lake Norman is a very large lake with tons of activities on and off the lake. We bought this home because it is Quiet, Private, Nice View and the Cove is perfect for swimming and fishing as it is away from boat traffic.
