Quiet Getaway

Very well kept home in quiet area. Not far from Lake Mattamuskeet and good fishing pier. Great place for a getaway from everything.

A great place to stay in SwanQuarter!

We needed the house for 1 night because we took the 7:00 am ferry across to Okracoke and Hatteras Islands. It was a lovely house, with more amenities than we expected. We would definitely stay again!

Relax and unwind

This is a great place to stay. It was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Convenient to the Ocracoke ferry. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Wonderful Times

Great location- short drive to the SwanQuarter Ferry. Very clean. Close drive to two wildlife boar ramps. Great for small groups of hunters or fisherman.

Nice place to stay!!!

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and well kept. We needed a place for family coming down to stay because we needed extra room and this property was great. They are very likely to stay here again. Thanks!!

Hyde County

Great cozy place near lots of outdoor activities. Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge, Gull Rock, and other places to hunt, fish, hike, and bird watch. We’re ready to go back.

Very nice, needs a larger grill, a 10" charcoal grill doesnt work for four steaks. TV not good, besides that the house is nice and comfortable.

Quaint quiet cottage

This house was so unassuming on the outside but once you walked in was so beautiful. Tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and quiet.

Beautiful Cottage

This property was above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone. Our stay was very short but so enjoyable and the house was very clean. We got to the house and realized an hour away was the first place to buy supplies and we realized we forget TP and thank goodness they had some stocked for us. I was very thankful for this. It is the little things. The Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Nice Place

Hard to find accommodations in this area that are beyond the bare basics geared towards hunters and fishermen. This was a lucky find. Tastefully decorated, clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds. Note that there is no Wifi, no dishwasher and TV has minimal cable.

Perfect fishing weekend

This house is conveniently located to all the fishing areas we came for. Beds are comfortable and the house was cozy. The host is great and really puts effort into stocking the house with things you may need. We will be back soon.

Short but sweet!

Overnight stop but would love to stay longer and explore more. Quiet farmland area with convenient proximity to the Swan Quarter ferry. Clean, welcoming home with easy check in. Quick and friendly communication with the property owner. Would recommend!

Quick Summer Getaway

Property is in in a very quiet peaceful area near the Outer Banks. When we were there in July there is a corn field growing over 6 feet tall for as far as the eye can see. Inside is kept immaculate and we will probably stay again!

Very Charming

This house was so charming! The costal farmhouse cottage theme was beautiful and a perfect way to start our vacation. We stayed in this house the night before our morning ferry ride to Ocracoke. If we pass through in the future, we’d definitely stay here again.
