Beautiful Japanese style home. Lovely surroundings, we watched deer, heron, bunnies, weasels and many lovely birds. Close to all the places we wanted to visit. We had a wonderful family vacation. There were 7 of us.

Great stay in the California country side
We were a family of 5 with a toddler and stayed at the farm house for 10 days in October. The place was perfect for a relaxing stay with family. The Japanese style farm house has a charm to it with enough space , well equipped with a huge garden. The place is close to beaches, and surrounded by vineyards and greenery.
A great stay overall and recommend it to others looking for a get away in SF bay!

Fantastic stay in beautiful Watsonville!
We visited this gorgeous property over Thanksgiving 2024. We had two families with teens and our mother. The property is perfect for families with kids, and the land around it is gorgeous. On a clear day, you can see the ocean from the lovely wrap-around porch. The home comes with a state park pass so you can visit the local beaches—one is a short walk or 3-minute drive. The kitchen has everything you could ever need- we cooked many meals in the home and even used the rice cooker, and steamed some local artichokes on Thanksgiving day. The home is close to Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. My husband played at Pebble Beach on Thanksgiving day and we took advantage of the beautiful 17 mile drive. There are 3 large beds and two twins. The air mattress in the loft gave one of our teenagers some privacy. The large living room and table afforded us plenty of space to eat and play games as a family. A wonderful trip and we would gladly come again.

Beautiful home!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It was myself and my husband, our 5 kids, my mom, and mother-in-law. There was plenty of room and we didn't feel cramped at all. The views are amazing. We affectionately named all the deer we saw.
The owners were very communicative without being overly so. The kitchen was not only well stocked with cooking amenities but we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of spices available. (We love to cook and normally take our own.) I don't have anything negative to say at all. We would most definitely return in the future. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

Beautiful California Getaway
We loved this property! We visited from Atlanta with my family and my sister’s family (9 of us - 3 kids under 18) for a week in June. The property easily accommodated all of us and there was plenty of space for family games and meals. The property sits on 9 acres or so and feels secluded and private. You can see the ocean and beautiful sunsets from the patio and main room. Additionally, we saw all kinds of wildlife! Great horned owls most nights, lots of deer, rabbits, an osprey (we heard coyotes). There is even a strawberry field on The property where my kids picked fresh strawberries. The house was well appointed and we had everything we needed. The outside space was nice on sunny days. Mark, the host, was very helpful and was able to give some great suggestions for dining and things to do. Overall it was perfect for our large group and I highly recommend.

Ideal for multi-generation family vacation
We wanted a place where our extended family of 5 adults and 2 children (under 4) could spend a week together. This home was perfect for us. It's large enough to spread out, but with an open floor plan to encourage socializing. The hosts were always quick to respond to questions. Location was near the beach and in-between Santa Cruz and Monterey.

Lovely and spacious but many cobwebs
Lovely house and spacious. Kitchen was well stock with spices and various staples. Like we forgot to bring sugar for coffee, and there was some already there. Clean towels and bedding, and plenty of soap. The views and sunset are beautiful. Only a short 1 minute drive to the beach made it super easy especially with free parking. Would be happy to stay again.
Only improvement would be to do more cobweb cleaning, lots of webs throughout the inside in the corners of ceiling between beams, and all over outside rails and patio areas. Suggest more spraying for spiders. Additionally, the TV was in an awkward location and was not good for group viewing on the couch as the TV couldn't be turned enough for a movie night, also the glare and sun light from the West caused issues for the TV and sitting at half of the dining table. I would suggest a shade installed to make those spaces more comfortable in the afternoon.
The roads leading to the property are in need of resurfacing, "very bumpy", and a bit of drive to nearest store (not that is an issues unless you forgot something), the property closer to the road vs this property up the hill, have same address number, so packages were being delievered for the neighbors to us and our pizza delievery was sent to them. More clearer addresses A and B should be used to distiguish the two properties with same number from the street level coming from both ways of the street.
