A small cottage centrally located in the steep mountains of the Alleghany Highlands, a region rich in history and a haven for the arts. This home provides the best of both worlds, guaranteeing a comfortable base from which to explore Clifton Forge and its surrounding area. Voted the "Best Small Adventure Town" twice in recent years, this gem and adjacent communities also provide numerous retail and dining options. There is something for everyone. Children and pre-screened pets are welcome.

This was our 2nd stay here and we loved it just as much as the 1st time! It is the perfect place for a couple’s weekend getaway. Audrey helped us find some beautiful, close spots - of which we are forever grateful. Although our stay ended early, completely of our own accord, we would gladly come back for a 3rd visit

This was the cutest cottage we've ever stayed in! Everything was clean, quiet & close to town & our other family members that were in town. It had all the amenities we needed for us & our 2 dogs & if we are ever back in the area we would definitely love to stay here again!

Cozy Cottage was perfect for my stay! It had all the comforts of home, was well-equipped, and in a great location. The owner was quick to respond when I had a question and very personable. If I am ever back this way, I will definitely book again.

This is a wonderful property to stay. First thing we noticed is how private it was. Second was the property outside the unit was well maintained and inviting. There was seating in front of the property and if one wanted more privacy, there was a place to have a fire and sit in the back of the unit. Inside the unit was stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay. The unit inside was clean and plenty of seating. Plenty of outlets for one's gadgets as well. Audrey was a wonderful host, prompt with responses and clear with instructions. I can see why SuperHost is designated. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling. Great experience!

This was our second stay at the property and we couldn't be happier with our experiences. Look no further if you need a vrbo to stay in the Clifton Forge/Allegheny Co area. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and fully stocked. There are two separate houses on this large quiet private property. Although there's 2 houses, they're separated by a privacy fence and are far from each other with separate parking and large outdoor spaces. Prior, we stayed stayed at the other house. It's a large 2 bedroom, perfect for 2 couples or a family with children.

Perfect for a weekend get away!

Came down from Louisville for a long weekend to see family. This was perfect for a couple. A full kitchen, new washer and dryer. We had our friends over one night and had a fire (roasting sticks for smores can be found in the kitchen). We found it very thoughtful that Audrey provided us with an extra dog leash and poop bags. An added bonus was the heating floor in the bathroom!! All around a great weekend away
