This stately Victorian B&B dates from 1887 and is 0.8 miles from Bennington Museum, and 2 blocks from the shops and restaurants of Main Street. The 9 rooms are opulently decorated with antiques and offer free WiFi. Some add working fireplaces and canopies or 4-poster beds. There's an ornate fireplace in the elegant living room, and a mahogany paneled library. All our accommodations are elegantly appointed, each with private bathrooms, luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linens from Matuk, Frette Italy, bathrobes and slippers, All-natural botanical room amenities by Floris London, Mineral water, daily Housekeeping service, irons, ironing boards, and hair driers.

A Perfect Getaway

It was such a relief to enter a space that honors a time gone by. The attention to detail—perfect touches—from the sheets and pillows tot he fresh flowers at the breakfast table added to the hospitality and warmth we felt immediately walking into the inn. There is NOTHING like staying at a place where the owner is present and attending to guests//thank you, Jim for a lovely respite from the circus.

Beautiful place

We brought our pups with us and stayed in the sleigh room which was very lovely and clean. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast that came with our stay. The staff were courteous and attentive. The main house is a historical masterpiece. Highly recommend.

Beautiful BNB , this home is full of history and the decor is stunning.

We stayed here overnight , Joe was a fantastic host ,. He told us about local hiking trails, all about the history of this home and breakfast was fabulous. Thank you. We will be back .
