Property was in a lovely area. It is up a narrow hill so you need to be very careful. We booked this area because of all the different bethel tours which was a central location to them all.

Great location for hiking

This is a great property in a great location. The problem we had was a sewer smell coming from the upstairs bathroom. Our host was very good at communicating about the problem. The plumber was arriving the day we left so hopefully the issue is fixed.

Well equipped lake house

We were very impressed with the property. The home was clean, the view was beautiful, and the owners have provided everything you could need for a great stay.

Disappointed

Overall we did enjoy our stay but we did find that the house was not as clean as we would have hoped. There were mouse feces in drawers as well as in the main foyer area. There were dead bugs smashed on the walls, a lot of dust especially in the bathroom vent. There was an awful stench coming from the upstairs area which we think was a dead mouse based on the droppings found. We did let the homeowner know about the cleanliness of the house just so they knew that their housekeeper wasn't doing what they are paid to do. If the house was clean and the smell was gone we would've given a much better rating. The homeowner seemed upset about the fact that we let them know about the cleanliness. We've stayed in many VRBO houses and this one was definitely not our favorite based on the look, smell, and homeowners response. We followed all end of stay directions that were provided in the binder and text we received.

Our stay

Beautiful view of the lake, well equipped home with very well thought out kitchen gadgets, espresso machine, water cooler and more! Updated kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms. Looks like some renovations still under way. More than adequate parking for a group of 7 or 8. Owner was very responsive to any questions. She was wonderful to work with.
