Cozy & spacious home in Hawley! Enjoy our beautiful home close to downtown Hawley, breweries, Lake Wallenpaupack, hiking, snowmobiling trails and much more! Our home is a about a 5 minute drive to one of the public boat launches. Our driveway is big enough for you to park your boat during your stay. Please note our home does not have direct lake access. Trespassing will result in a fine.

For the skiers and snowboarders Big Bear Mountain is 16 miles away from the property (about a 30 min drive).

First off, thank you so much Cinthia for your hospitality and great communication with me. Your timely responses were very much appreciated. This house was clean and has everything you would need. Just to note the main bedroom is on the main floor with three large bedrooms downstairs. Each bedroom has a large tv and a heater, in case you like it a little warmer, even with the house heater on.

Excellent offshore getaway

The home is open and full of natural light. We had great communication with the host before arrival and on one occasion during the stay. The community is very quiet and calm. Great for families looking to enjoy the lake and not there to party, perfect for us. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway just off the lake!

Simply loved it!

This property is extremely comfortable! The location was great, in a small community that was quiet with minimal traffic, and close to all the restaurants and fall attractions I had planned to visit. The house is really well equipped for a rental-Alexa, every kitchen item you could need, tv’s in every room, and more! Cinthia was very responsive and attentive, too! Definitely want to stay again!

Beautiful lake cabin for a large group

I booked this property for a long weekend with a group of 9 women and this house was perfect for our needs! Plenty of bedrooms for sleeping, and the kitchen/living area was great for hanging out. The property is also in a prime location--it is a short drive to local breweries, the public beach, and other lake attractions. I also appreciated how clean the property was when we arrived and that the owner provided everything we needed, including linens, towels, dishes, etc. Very convenient! Cinthia was also in frequent contact to make sure our stay went smoothly and to get everything ready for us. I absolutely recommend booking this property for a vacation to the lake!

Nice stay in a spacious house (with a few hiccups)

We found the house to be generally much nicer than what the pictures showed. It was comfortable and spacious for our family of 6. With that said, there were so many HOA rules (and threats of fines). We were disappointed that the advertised sandy beach was inaccessible to renters. A few other surprises (invasive cameras and connected devices) that make it that we'll probably choose a different property for our next family trip.

Hi Linda, thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the rules provided are set by the HOA and that is out of my control. In my introduction message to you, I advised of the fines if said rules were broken, threats were never sent out. I do not see anywhere in my listing that a sandy beach is accessible to guests. I note that the docks and lake at the end of the street are not for guests as that is private property. I advised you of this before your arrival. Lastly, we mention that we have cameras on site. You failed to mention that these cameras you are referring to are outside on the deck. We do not have cameras inside, therefore I am not sure what “connected devices” you are referring to.

Great host/location

Second time visiting lake Wallenpaupack and this property far exceeded our first experience with another host. Rooms where clean and well sized. Living room and kitchen had everything and anything you could possibly need. Check in and check out was a breeze and host was more than accommodating. For boating there is a marina down the street that makes it super easy to launch. We will definitely be back! !!!!
