Nice home, poor management
Unfortunately we were disappointed in the level of professionalism and cleanliness when we stayed at this property. We confirmed an early check in when we first booked the property and management that it wouldn't be a problem.
Not only were the dirty linens still there at 9pm (5 hours after regular check in) but also the garbage from the previous stay and a lack of firewood (which I specifically requested in advance as we planned on using Friday evening). Furthermore, the water tank in the home was not properly working during our stay (I assume it was due to the prior guests as well) and we were unable to shower our first night there.
I kindly asked for a partial refund (as we were only there for 2 days) to make up for the inconveniences that we experienced and the owner was unwilling to admit the lack of professionalism and provide the requested refund.
