Red Canoe Lodge has it all with an outdoor play area, game room, fully stocked kitchen with waffle and coffee bar, board games, toys, reading area, huge comfy couches, multiple TVs, indoor and outdoor dining, charcoal grill, fire pit, panoramic views, charging stations and Wi-Fi included. Game room has basketball, arcade PacMan, hookey, and all the nostalgia you need with classic Nintendo.

Walk in, drop your bags, grab a snack and make a drink at the water or coffee bar. Step outside and enjoy the good life on Smith Lake. With 4 bedrooms, hotel quality bedding, and top-of-the-line mattresses, you’ll have the best sleep ever on vacation.

Enjoy beautiful lake views from the spacious covered porch and, in just three short steps, you are on the dock for fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and sun bathing. Launch your boat or jet skis just 7 miles away at Duncan Bridge Marina and dock in the available covered slip. Amazing Lake house !

What a lovely experience at lake smith ! House was lovely with all the extra small touches to make you feel at home. From the s’mores and waffle bar to coffee on the patio enjoying the lake views our stay could not have been better. The host was quick with communication and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Place

This was an absolutely perfect spot for our family get away. We enjoyed all the house had to offer and the location as well. The host goes above and beyond for her guests. We will be back!!!

Great place for a family!

It was a great place to stay with family! There is a game room and they have toys, books, and some board games up stairs. Tracy was very quick to respond when I had questions! She was great! Loved our stay!

Peaceful Family Time

We enjoyed our stay at The Red Canoe! It was just as described. It was far enough away for a quiet time and close enough to jump in the car and go to town. The owner had all kinds of special treats everywhere from super nightlights, to snacks and goodies for s’mores. The items available for kids were fabulous! The deck was perfect for morning coffee, the closeness to the lake was helpful, and the comfort of the home, priceless. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more.

A hidden gem

What a wonderful property managed by the most amazing family. The cove is perfect. Close to the main channel, but in a quiet area of no wake. The boat house was perfect for outlr wakeboard boat and had a swim platform that the kids loved. We had fun using the kayaks and canoe on skiing breaks too. The house was cozy and well stocked. The kids (big and small) loved the game room as well. And as an added bonus, when I left my son's favorite lunchbox behind, the precious owner mailed it to me. We will be booking again here many more times!! Thank you again Tracy for opening your sweet house to us.

Wonderful week! We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful location and view of the lake. So easy to get to. Very close to the grocery store. The house was very well set up for a family. The owners thought of everything from fans in the bedrooms, night lights, throw blankets, coffee etc. The set up on the lake made it so easy to get on to the lake. It’s very Easy to bring in your boat and no stairs to the water, which was fabulous! The cove is private and so quiet yet convenient to the marinas and not too busy for the kids to kayak in. The kids loved kayaking to the island and it made a great destination to get to. The owners were very responsive and the house was very clean and updated. The game room is a fun touch and entertaining for kids. There’s plenty of room and the bathrooms are very large and beautifully updated. . We will definitely stay again!

Quick vacation

Good property. As advertised. Really appreciate the closeness of the dock compared to some Smith Lake properties. Not a ton of stairs or hills to climb. Owner was very responsive to any questions. Would stay again.

Our first family vacation at Smith Lake

The Red Canoe Lodge was a wonderful place for our family vacation. My grandchildren had so much fun, as did all of us. We enjoyed the canoe, the kayaks, swimming and fishing in the little cove off the main river. The accommodations were great. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The view from the deck was great and the sunsets were gorgeous. There was plenty of room for parking several vehicles and boat trailers. It was a great place for our family of all ages and we had a wonderful time there. I would love to stay at this property again in the future. The property owner was very helpful in providing information prior to our visit. Our first experience at Smith Lake was fabulous and we definitely plan to come back.

So close to the water!

Great location and nice renovations going on. The owner was so responsive and accommodating and this is the closest house to the water that we have ever rented!! A+++ Master is really nice, the kitchen is very open and functional. The patio is not screened in, but has wonderful sunset end of day views. We love the game room! Everyone seemed very entertained! The upstairs big bedroom is really nice, one of the other rooms could use another queen bed (for our family with 2 grown kids) and a shower and more AC, it does get a bit warm, but I love the added space of the mezzanine! Overall great rental as we had plenty of dock space for our tritoon boat and 2 jet skis, & they leave several kayaks to paddle out and a canoe! If you don’t have water toys like we did, they provide a nice selection to enjoy the lagoon and the island and nice new decking that makes an easy walk to the water for elderly people! It was super easy to get grandma on the water and back :) hope you enjoy 😊
