Welcome to Laketown Wharf 135! If you are looking to experience a home-away-from-home in the heart of Panama City Beach, then this homey condo is the place for you. From the moment you walk into this condo, you will feel relaxed and tranquil. The enticing balcony overlooks a massive lighted fountain within its namesake lake, choreographed with dancing water, lights, and music into a nightly landmark show.

You'll have a private balcony with beautiful views on the second floor next to the stairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and flatscreen TVs in every room, plus free WiFi, and a private washer and dryer. The Laketown Wharf community is a wonder in itself offering a third-floor putting green overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, access to a variety of gazebos and gathering areas, five eloquent pools, a spa tub, a fitness center, 52,000 square feet of lakefront boardwalk, a meditation garden, and direct beach access across the street. There is also a poolside café, spa, and a children’s club. Laketown Wharf is within walking distance to Signal Hill Golf Course, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Wonderworks allowing entertainment for anyone and everyone! Play Golf at one of many expert golf courses in the area, including Bay Point, the Hombre, and Signal Hill. Enjoy some local fishing or launch your boat at nearby St Andrews State Park which is a short distance from the condo. Many local attractions are within a short driving distance, so there is fun for the whole family and wonderful memories to be made here!

Good location to the beach & pool.

Great location for beach access & splash pads for kids. Wifi didn’t work from day 1. Used our hot spot the entire stay. Ac & the oven broke on day 3; so hot! Ac was not fix until we located the breaker & switch it back on day 4 at night! Left on day 5. Was not happy with the lack of help!

Ok stay

Good location and access to the beach. The condo room is next to the elevator which takes forever to use, so just use the stairs to get to the ground level. Note to self, you would have to carry EVERYTHING one flight down; ie infants, stroller, towels, wagon, bags…etc. They have 5 pools which are nice. My kids love the kiddie pool. The condo room was not ready when we arrived at 5pm and check in time was 4pm, so we waited another 10-20 mins.. The condo room can be cleaner. Floors were still dirty after the cleaning crew. The bottom of our feet were black so we cleaned the floors at the beginning of our stay and throughout our stay. One of the rugs (near kids bunkbeds) had a stain on it. Sadly, the Wifi does not work at all from day 1, so we used our data for internet. Host was notified and no resolution at all. The AC and the oven stopped working on day 3, thermostat read 82 degrees & my kids were sweating and after days of asking for help from vacasa, they said to switch the breaker, which we located; hidden behind a mirror fyi. & it worked on the last night. Wished they would of told us this asap rather 24 hrs later. Also, we did not the dishwasher but it is broken fyi. We cleaned the dish washer filter which was filthy dirty and that can make people sick. A few pots were scratch up so we did not use that. We purchase hand soap, dish soap & sponge (to clean our kids bottles) and plastic spoons and forks and plates bc it was easier to manage.

Nice room set up; curtains a little dirty.

Over Sold

If you are looking for a frat house style feel with some college friends, this is the place. The only way not to notice the film all over the kitchen, which had zero forks, would be to keep a nice 10 beer daze going for your entire stay. Will avoid VACASA at all costs. Water to building shut off without notice.

Clean, comfortable, and great location

The condo was very convenient due to its location, availability of restaurants and easy beach access. No problem waiting around for an elevator since we could just take one flight of stairs. The condo was clean. The lakeside views from the large sliding glass door off the living room and viewing the nightly water show off our large balcony made it very enjoyable.

Not Impressed

As soon as we walked in we spotted a dirty towel in the bathroom. We messaged the guest service and received a generic response. Then there was only one fork in the kitchen and very few other utensils. Dirty measuring cups were in the drawers. The floors were dirty like they have not been mopped in a while. Then the cable remotes were no where to be seen. We messaged guest services and again received a generic response. The door seals are bad in the unit. Your could hear the wind whistling through the unit 24 hours a day.

Great stay

The condo was has excepted with photos, which is always nice could have been a bit cleaner regarding the floor moldings. And the TV's were not user friendly. Another than that absolutely a great stay! The property a bit run down and old, improvements desperately needed at the pools and bars. Thank you

Great Stay! My son and I love it

The condo is huge with nice furniture and it feels like you’re at home. The AC didn’t work well but we weren’t in the room much to be uncomfortable. Beautiful view off the balcony.

Great amenities and close to everything!

My 5 girl friends and I stayed in this condo for a weekend getaway, and to make it short, the room and resort were pretty neat. We loved the pools and all the shops and amenities the resort has! The kiddie pool is a hidden gem, it’s a great picture spot during golden hour. We missed the light show in the evening, but were nevertheless impressed by the lake and the bridge encasing it. The floor we stayed in was calm and quiet, also considering we visited in April, a bit after spring break. Coyote Ugly’s is a fun bar in PCB, and only a 10 mins walk from the condo! Walmart and its liquor store are right across the street! The beach was only about a 5 min walk, and I liked the feeling of privacy given we passed through a walkway. The front desk ladies that attended us were sweet and knew what they were doing! Security personnel was a little much, but it's also because they were doing their job that they would be checking for wristbands. As a young woman, traveling with all women, I felt safe. Especially with all the cameras! The futon mattress needs to be replaced, badly. But if you use it during your stay, just take a comforter to put on top and hopefully that’ll make it better >_< or just sleep on one of the recliners like I did, lol. They’re very comfy. I would come back and stay at this condo again! ;)

Great location

Over all it was a great place to stay. Plenty of room, the light show was nice, the bed was decent, a five minute walk to the beach, right behind Pineapple Willys. The check-in information needs to be updated. The wifi and password they provided didn’t work for us. There is a sign on the wall with different information, that worked. Other reviews say the tv didn’t work. We had to change the network information to the wifi that worked and it worked. The link I was sent to pay for wristbands and parking ($86.. that should be in the listing) didn’t work. I chatted and called. They kept sending me the same link. Finally, I was told to just do it when I got there. So, if you get the link and it doesn’t work don’t waste your time. I went to the check in desk they sent me the correct link and I paid for parking in less than 5 minutes. I saw three roaches during my stay. I sent a message. They said they’d send someone out. They didn’t come, but we only stayed two nights. If it wasn’t for the roaches I would’ve given a 5 star review.

Overall it was pretty good neither tv worked at all while we were there. And there were a couple stains on the bed sheets and bed. Everything was really comfortable.

Loved it

So spacious! Also comes with all of the pots and dishes you will need. Have to pay an additional $89 fee for parking and wristbands. However everything went very smooth. Definitely recommend

Wonderful time!!

Beautiful place, great location, and we had a blast! Only issue was problems with TV channels and couldn't watch college football on Saturday. Thanks for a GREAT time!

Renter Beware- truly awful. Not safe.

Upon arriving, people drinking in the parking lot and screaming/cursing. Alerted front desk who did nothing. The room was filthy. Visible thick dust on every baseboard. Food along the counter. Hair, eyelashes, and dried substance on linens. Sand in the beds. You wait 20-25 minutes on an elevator. Unpin check in, no luggage carts were available so we had to drag our entire families luggage up stairs because if we had waited on the elevator each trip it would have taken us hours to unload the car. People were loud and screamed and played music throughout the property at night. Security was no help. Managers were unresponsive and promised a refund of the “cleaning fee” only which hasn’t happened. Poor customer service. I would not recommend to anyone with children or a family.

Nice inside, but loud location.

We stayed in this complex before and enjoy all the amenities. This unit was very nice inside, but it’s located near the elevator/parking deck/bridge to parking, and the area is very loud. Be sure to bring noise machines, so you can sleep. We enjoy being on the bottom four floors of this complex, so we can use the stairs, because the elevators are slow and take forever. Vacasa adds lots of fees onto their price when you go to pay and secure the unit. These fees didn’t include the $70 that we found out we had to pay for parking and amenity wrist bands. With all the fees, this unit was much pricier than others we’ve stayed in in the past and we don’t plan to stay in a Vacasa unit again for this reason.

VRBO/VACASA

Rented with vrbo which I have never had any problems with them that is one reason I chose to use them but before my trip my vacation condo was handed off to vacasa whom I do NOT ever want to rent from again. You do not have direct contact with anyone and you never know who you are taking with. We had issues with the condo when we first got there took two days for them to work on the problems but never actually fixed them all the way. I will definitely use vrbo again but I will not stay in the same condo again.

much needed vacation

My family and I were for super excited to go on vacation. We missed our yearly vacation last year due to covid. I was very satisfied with our stay. The view was nice and peaceful. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
