We ran out of hot water and the bathroom on the top level leaked down to the kitchen. The leak means the floor was probably not sealed around the shower.

Wi-Fi was out at cabin before we arrived, owners didn't seem to care, no hurry to get fixed for us, even though i reached out every day for progress and was told that I am waiting for the part. So 8 televisions in the cabin that were useless because everything requires internet. Also no actual living room area on main floor, very inconvenient when traveling with limited mobility parents. Beds and pillows were bare minium at best. Also cabin was 55 degrees when we arrived at 4PM, took till midnight or so to get warmed up to 68 degrees. Very cold and unpleasant that evening.

Great get away for family!

We stayed here with our kids and grandkids, it was a great home with lots of room for everyone and very convenient to all attractions. We really enjoyed our stay!

Communication was good prior to our arrival but upon arrival, other than picking up the trash, and supplying a working remote for one of the tvs, the host often did respond. The cabin was clean but the main floor was overtaken by sewer smells. Septic may need emptying. The HVAC could not be regulated. The main floor had 2 thermostats, neither of which seemed to regulate the main floor or any other floor. I took a pic of thermostats on lower level and main and sent to host. Each floor registered in the low 50’s. The host had reached out on Thanksgiving and told us there was a HVAC tech was coming next day. I informed host by email that was good because sections of the cabin were extremely cold. When the Tech did not show up at appointed time, we notified host and received no response. We also reported an overwhelming sewer smell and a door on one of the patios did not open. No response to either of these.I have used VRBO several times and this was the most expensive one I have rented but I’m sorry to say, this host was the least responsive.Beautiful location, clean but needs some overall updates and instructions would be helpful.

12 adults, 1 kid and 2 babies stayed here comfortably with plenty of space. A few of the rooms did smell like they had some type of sewer issue but the host was very responsive when told. Overall i would recommend

Overall great stay, great time with family. We did find items, maybe from previous renters that we found in one of the down stairs room that were not oura but, We did discard them.

Youth Retreat

We stayed here for our annual youth retreat. The cabin was perfect for our group. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our large group.

Family friendly

Great space for big family gathering. Love the large dining table!! 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwasher!! Amazing!! Very spacious. All ages enjoyed! Theater room with games awesome!! Extreme heat made it challenging for air conditioning to keep up. But we loved this property.

TN with kids and grandkids

Communication with manager was good, location fit our needs, large dining table was great, open bathrooms were odd, house needed a deep cleaning, kitchen not very well stocked (example - had to eat dessert in shifts because there wasn’t enough spoons for the 19 of us). I didn’t expect beautiful views at this house’s location and there wasn’t . . . not certain why others said there were. Maybe we have a different opinion of beautiful or view. My best view was family around the dining room table!

Great home for a large group

We had a group of 16 family members stay at this house to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house! It was so nice to have so many bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The kitchen/dining level works great for a large group with the table able to seat 16 (with 8 more spots at the extra long island. We also appreciated having two refrigerators and two dishwashers. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, flatware and glasses, but consider bringing your own food storage containers and cookware as there is a limited supply. The living room level only has seating for 6, so not as good of a place to gather. We loved the hot tub and the media room was nice as well. The house was clean and welcoming and the owner was quick to respond to questions.

Main floor was great.

Our family group consisted of three married couples two elderly adult siblings, and one other single. 9 in total. The well-stocked kitchen withlarge island and dining room table on the main floor worked very well for us. Two seniors stayed in the main floor bedrooms, two couples took the Upper Floor bedrooms, one couple took the lower floor bedroom, one took the lower floor bunk bed room after trying out the loft. We had one elderly senior cancel on us which turned out to be a good thing. The Loft bedrooms did not have their own bathrooms and the bunk bed room did not have its own shower. Some of the shower heads needed to be upgraded. I reported that to management. The kitchen was well stocked and having two full size refrigerators and two dishwashers came in extra handy. The propane grill needed some serious cleaning before use. The next tenant should be in good shape! There are decks off of most of the bedrooms but no deck big enough for the whole party to enjoy together. The hot tub situation was not ideal. Getting the cover on and off was difficult. Only one person usedthe hot tub twice. Not a great Gathering spot. The overall location and parking worked well for us. The wood floors on the second floor in the seating area by the pool table could use some sanding and refinishing as a huge sliver ended up in my sock. Glad it wasn't my foot! We did not utilize the theater area nor did we use the games or the pool table. , we enjoyed our stay at this property and would retur

Don't rent in extremely cold weather

This is an older cabin that needs some updating. If you rent this property in cold weather, which is when we visit TN, the heat does not work. It has a heat pump that does not support cold temps. We had to move my disabled Mom and brother to the uppper level for heat. The cabin was 48 degrees when we arrived and the heat never got above 53 degrees for a day and a half. We had all of us on the top level and slept in hats and jackets! The fireplace does not light up on the second level. Who wants to sit by a black fireplace? The day that it finally started warming up we had to spend a lot of time getting everyone packed and unpacked and to their appropriate rooms. The hot tub didn't work until the last day we were there. Never got an apology or any type of sorry for this inconvenience from the host. I just got the response that he saw where the thermostat was changed 3 times to cold. Yes, if you are trying to adjust a thermostat it is going to go to cold and then to heat. We all know what a snowflake means and I have pictures of all of the thermostats and time stamps not moving. It was unbearably cold and the temps outside were 11 degrees. If the heat pump doesn't support those temps, it only needs to be rented out in Summer or warmer months. Last thing, if you are in a car and without 4WD, Don't rent here. It is up winding steep hills.

10/10 Comfortable, Clean & Convenient

We were entirely pleased with our recent stay at this wonderful property. Our group consisted of four families, all with young children. This house was perfect. With eight bedrooms, each set of parents had a comfortable room with a large bed (and a quality mattress!) to themselves. Each family had their own bathroom. None of our kids had to share beds or squabble about where to sleep. Family vacation bliss. The cinema room fit all of us together for a relaxing movie night one evening and the kids loved the arcade as well. After the kids went to bed each night, we all settled in around the expansive bar in the kitchen or the dining table to catch up and play board games. Great memories. With two refrigerators and two dishwashers, plus plenty of cooking tools & cabinets, we found the kitchen highly functional. Plenty of space for everyone's groceries and dirty dishes always had somewhere to go. Each family cooked one night and had ample tools to make great food. I have to say, other times we've stayed at houses with groups like this and while there is technically enough space for everyone to sleep, it feels like a squeeze for other aspects of daily life. This house really shined. Plus, it was very clean, well-kept and had ample parking for all our vehicles right out front. Last but not at all least, it was super convenient. It's an easy & short drive from the Knoxville airport, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and the National Park. Highly recommend & would stay here again.

Disappointed

My family spent 5 nights in this cabin. We received no response from the Property Manager when we presented issues. Upon arrival I noticed a broken toilet paper holder and reported it immediately, as suggested in our welcome email from Nicholas Russell. No response. We were without water one day and I texted our contact person and asked for his phone number. No response. We had 12 people in our house and needed to know what to expect. We never received a reply. The temperature on our third and fourth floors hovered around 84 degrees. Again I texted our contact person. No response. The only contact we had with anyone was the standard welcome email and later another standard email containing instructions on how we were to leave the house. The emails came from Nicholas Russell but were signed “Travis”. When rating this house, I had to give “Communication with Property Manager” one star because I was not able to give it a zero, and yet we had zero response. Most bedrooms had an attached bath, which was nice, and it was the main reason for this rental. However, most bathrooms did not have doors. Therefore there was no privacy. If I had realized this, I likely would not have rented the house. This house has a lot of possibility, and our stay could have been much nicer if we had only been able to contact someone about our concerns.

Clean and plenty of space for all.

This cabin is pretty clean and sanitary. I have many allergies and this house gave me no problems at all (cleanliness is a top priority to my family and I). This cabin is perfect for our family/friends get together. It has plenty of space. Will definitely stay here again whenever we decide to come back to Tennessee again.
