Experience farm life in style! This fully furnished modern attached guesthouse with private entrance sits on beautiful grounds and gardens with a full view of Mount Hood. Enjoy world class biking, hiking, and water sports! It’s a 10 minute drive to historic downtown The Dalles for wine tasting, brewpubs, and shopping. The Columbia River boasts some of the best wind surfing in the country. Hiking, fishing, and skiing, are all within striking distance too. Come home to a luxury open concept apartment with well stocked kitchen and game room. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and walk in closet. The game room boasts a combination pool and air hockey table, along with lots of games and books. There is also a comfortable double futon bed and access to a washer and dryer. Smart TVs are available in both sleeping areas. Electric fire places create a warm ambiance in the bedroom and living room. Large windows along the length of the whole apartment make sure you don’t miss the stunning views and wildlife. There is a gas fire pit and patio right outside the door along with gas grill and utensils. Trickle charging for your EV is available!

Property owners home is attached, so issues and questions can be promptly addressed, while still maintaining your complete privacy. This property is truly is one of a kind and we look forward to hearing from you!

Absolutely incredible, the communication was great, the setting beautiful ( sunrise, sunsets and Mt.Hood) the Hosts were amazing ( thank you again for fresh eggs and fresh baked bread). The bed was oh so comfortable and everything we need from cooking to recreation was available ( Lisa thank you again for lending Clay the fishing rod) I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and in all aspects I would give this one a 10-10 .

Peaceful, private, and completely relaxing stay. Worth the drive from town to enjoy star-filled skies at night and a view of mount hood by day.

Shay and Lisa, are wonderful, accommodating hosts. We had a great visit to their cute little country retreat. The chickens were very entertaining! The accommodations were over the top! Shay and Lisa created a warm and welcoming environment for our 3 night stay. We loved being able to find little nooks to relax in throughout their garden and yard. We enjoyed the game room, farm to table meals, and delicious wines. We would highly recommend a visit!

Best stay ever

It was majestic getting to stay on Lisa and Shay’s beautiful farm and gardens. Our hosts were beyond helpful and shared all of their beautiful property (including the wonderful vegetable, fruits and eggs from the chickens). The kids enjoyed the pool table, air hockey and darts while my husband and I loved laying in the hammock outside with beautiful sunset views of mt hood. We would travel to this area just to stay here again. Absolutely heaven!

This was a beautiful property. I was a little worried at first about the location, but it worked out fine. It was quite and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing at the property as well as our sightseeing day trips.

One of the most beautiful properties I've seen

I was absolutely blown away by this property—from the moment I arrived, it felt like something out of a dream. The views of Mt. Hood are truly spectacular, and the setting is peaceful and picture-perfect. Inside, the home was spotless and beautifully maintained. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like treats, snacks, and even a bottle of wine waiting for me. It was clear that every detail had been considered with care. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, welcoming stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Incredible property and helpful hosts. We are a group of besties/female cyclists (great gravel and road options from the location driveway is 9% and gravel!). Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Welcoming vibes galore! Lilac trees in full bloom, friendly chickens and a ginger kitty (none of these intrusive!). Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Don’t hesitate - book this one!! It’s a winner!!

Absolutely perfect for our get away!

Wonderful Getaway

The perfect place to have a getaway. The home was clean, well stocked, and included lovely touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The views and the area were everything we hoped for, and our hosts were quick to respond and very kind. We would definitely stay there again.

Welcoming experience

Our hosts were wonderful! They were easy to communicate with and had made the whole process as smooth as possible. Everything from the cleanliness to the hospitality was top notch. We will defenitly recomend staying here if you want to explore a different side of Oregon.

Amazing stay

Lisa and Shay were amazing! The house was beautiful and we had a lot of space, along with incredible views. On top of it all they went above and beyond any expectations as we ran into a very difficult situation and storm at the tail end of our stay. I highly recommend this home and host to anyone. I cannot say enough about this experience. The property is amazing! Shay and Lisa are the best hosts period! They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Fantastic hosts. One of the best weeks of my life. We have made friends for life and cannot wait to return. A perfect 10.

Complete recharge and relaxation. From the moment we arrived at this hidden oasis nestled in between the golden, rolling hills with a perfect view of Mount Hood, we knew it was going to be extra difficult to pack up and leave after our stay. Were greeted by a handful of easy going chickens in the fenced garden area. Then stepped into our VRBO apartment , that is actually more like a beautifully built, furnished, small house with gorgeous views of the hills and mountain. Lisa and Shay had thoughtful touches everywhere to include a bowl of local cherries, snacks, chocolates, and even gifted us a bottle of wine. Before our arrival, Shay was super quick to respond to any questions I had. And even at the last minute, setup an iron and iron board for us to use so we could prep for a wedding we were attending. Perfect driving distance for us to surrounding areas to include Hood River. Both beds, all pillows and linens were super comfy, and we loved having access to a grill to cook out. Couldn’t help but spend every morning outside to enjoy our coffee. Thank you Lisa and Shay! Can’t wait for a return trip hopefully soon!

The most amazing VRBO

Shay and Lisa were such wonderful hosts. From the moment we got there, the suite felt more like home than a Vrbo. We were welcomed with a card, bottle of wine, treats, and a bowl of fresh cherries. The hosts created a booklet that contained information about the suite and the nearby towns that was so helpful. The place itself was beautiful for such a reasonable price. If you’re thinking about this Vrbo, do it, don’t wait! We stayed many places during our honeymoon and this was by far the best. Thank you!!
