Escape to Sugar Cabin, a cozy log cabin retreat for 4 in a peaceful, wooded setting. Features a stone gas fireplace, a spacious deck with a fire table and mountain views, and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfectly located minutes from Waynesville and Maggie Valley, and just a 35-minute drive to Asheville. Your ideal home base for exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Step into our authentic log cabin and find a welcoming, open-plan living space designed for comfort and relaxation.

**Living Area:**
* Soaring vaulted ceilings and a beautiful stone gas fireplace.
* Comfortable leather couches for relaxing.
* 65-inch 4K Smart TV with Roku for streaming your favorite entertainment.
* Dedicated workspace with a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi (112 Mbps).

**Kitchen & Dining:**
* Fully equipped kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances.
* Gas oven and stove featuring a built-in flat griddle.
* Coffee options: Keurig, French press and Drip Coffee Machine.
* Indoor dining table and a Weber propane grill for outdoor barbecues.

**Bedrooms & Bathrooms (Sleeps 4):**
* Principal Bedroom: Rustic hickory pole king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with a shower, Roku TV, and direct deck access.
* Second Bedroom: Comfortable queen-sized bed.
* Two full bathrooms: one ensuite with a walk-in shower, and a second with a shower/tub combo and a washer/dryer.

**Outdoor Experience:**
* Expansive wood deck with serene valley and mountain views.
* Ample seating including Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, and a swinging bench.
* Cozy gas fire table for cool evenings.
* A quiet hammock nestled in the lush garden space for ultimate relaxation.

Guests will have full and private access to the entire cabin, the expansive deck, and the surrounding property. Enjoy complete privacy during your stay. Self-check-in is available via a secure keyless entry system, and your unique code will be provided before your arrival.

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. The cabin is well-equipped to ensure a pleasant and secure stay.

**Climate Control:** The cabin has central HVAC (heating and air conditioning) and ceiling fans for year-round comfort.
**Safety Features:** For your peace of mind, the property is equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms.
**Security:** An exterior security camera is located on the property. Once the guests check-in the camera is turn off and will not infringe on guest privacy.

Our host Maria was very good and she answered all our questions very expeditiously and had everything in her cabin rental booklet that was very informative. Everything that you would need on our trip was there, kitchen utensils, paper towels, toiletries, etc. 5 star host!!!!

Sugar Cabin exceeded our expectations; very well stocked and super clean. The immense quiet was perfect. We stayed two weeks with the 2nd week giving us cool mornings and evenings. The fireplace was a treat! The proximity to waterfalls, hikes, sightseeing was perfect. Highly recommend.

Small but good

This is a nice, small cabin. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and getting in was easy. The roads to access the property are good and not too challenging for the mountains. The driveway is steep but short so as long as the weather is good there are no issues there. WiFi worked well and the gas logs were a great addition. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans if you want to cook, but Waynesville is just down the road if you prefer to eat out. Be aware that this cabin is in a neighborhood, so if you're looking for a secluded place this isn't it. If you don't mind other cabins/houses nearby this is a great choice that we would book again without any concerns.

Long Weekend Getaway

Property was just as presented in the listing. There wasn't a thing that we were missing during our stay. We cooked in along with dining out and enjoyed this quiet getaway. Communications was great with Maria. We look forward to returning again.

Warm-Cozy-Quiet

Tastefully thought out decor with exceptional personal touches. The cabin felt like being at home with a hot cup of tea sitting on the porch. Super clean, with all the amenities of home. Lovely place that we would 100% recommend.

Magically Peaceful

My wife and I Had a very peaceful and relaxing time at this place. We had been touring the area from Charleston to Columbia to Charlotte and then to Ashville and it seemed like every where we went, it was chaos with the traffic, so coming to this cabin was definitely what we needed to get away from all the noise and bad drivers. This cabin sets in the perfect place if you just want peace and quiet. We watched the humming birds in the morning and enjoyed the fire flies at night. We couldn't have booked the more perfect place. Thank you Maria.

Lovely Property

Spent a long week at Sugar Cabin. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped with quality linens and furnishings. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking. Great porch area, woodsey views, clean bathrooms, wonderful beds and not too far from town. The property manager was very friendly and responded promptly. Would have extended our stay, and did so by a day, but sadly new guests were on the way. The driveway is a bit of a challenge, but just take it slow and you will be fine. Not too secluded but still feels private. There is a horse farm nearby and the horses and riders use the roads so take it easy. There are but four steps with banisters into the cabin so access is pretty good with all rooms on one level. This was great for my new knee. Would rent again.

We had a great stay. Enjoyed the cabin. Nice and clean. We got to grill out one night. Had some rain showers but very peaceful. Owner did a great job stocking cabin with essentials. Would love to go back.

If it rains a day; the cabin is a great place to be. It has Netflix and many more channels. The cabin is a beautiful, well kept place. The area is one of the most beautiful parts of our country. We've been there 2 years straight. It won't disappoint you.

Great Christmas trip

The cabin was immaculant and exactly as described. Everything from the dishes to the furniture was new and of great quality. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We loved sitting around the dining table or by the huge fireplace enjoying each other's company. Would definitely rent again!

Vay-cay getaway!

We loved this property, it was perfect for our vay-cay getaway. The property manager was easy to communicate with and very helpful with a request to add an additional night to our stay. We love the area as we’re very familiar with it, the home is perfectly located near many places. My biggest issue is the ‘neighbors’, understandably this is ‘not a concern or reflection’ of the home itself or the property manager at all, but, the neighbors are quite noisy—they talk ‘very loud’ from one house to another, there’s at least 3 dogs close by that bark at all times throughout the day into the early evening and one neighbor down the hill that ruined an ‘entire’ lovely day of weather outside by burning leaves, running a blower and mower all day, even well after dark! So much for serenity... that was my only disappointment here and again, this is not a concern or reflection of the home/manager—just want to be honest with others who may be looking for a peaceful, serene environment around them. The front porch is awesome with a swing and gas firepit... just wish we could have enjoyed it more in peace and quiet. Thank you for the stay bc other than the annoying nearby noises... this is a wonderful home!!!

Perfect mountain getaway

This beautiful cabin is well equipped and has everything we could have asked for in a vacation home. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch after returning from day trips to Great Smoky Mountains NP and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great Location

Perfect Getaway

Mountain Springs Cabis is as advertised. Homey, well appointed, near to many things yet private enough to feel like you are away from the world. Easy access to highways, Maggie Valley and surrounding areas. A perfect place to get away from it all.

Everything Perfect Except the Pillows

Beautiful cabin, perfect for myself, my daughter, and son-in-law, for a few days. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine was a nice touch. The cabin was very clean, and everything worked. Relaxing on the porch was a bonus. Comfortable beds, horrible pillows. If you like a soft or feather pillow you will have to bring your own. The driveway is steep and room for only one car to turn around, room for two cars for parking at the top.
